4 to go. nursery, bathroom, kitchen, living room. the biggest chore will be vacuuming and shampooing the rugs tomorrow night. the rest is easy, nursery i need to put away clothes, do baby laundry, the bathroom needs the works but 10 minutes tops in there, kitchen needs counters gone over, dishes away, floors swept/mopped, and the living room needs a good dusting and picking up. I’ll do some of that tomorrow when I get home and Friday after shopping, I’ll do the rest.

oh and slightly nervous about tomorrow morning. i’ve been trying to work up a post to write, but nothing has come yet. it’s a lot of feelings to put into words and i’m not sure I have all the words for it. In about 10 hours or so from now, I’ll be a dual citizen.. and that’s just kinda weird. Not something I thought would be ME a few years ago. Then again, I’m nowhere where I thought I’d be a few years ago, but that’s another post for another day.

but nothing says hilarity like lucien catching sight of himself reflecting in the den window, jabbing a finger at it and shouting “A BABY!!1!!”

clean. just have to finish the table, do some odds and ends pans, sweep & mop. Gonna flip the desk in the am, so i can finish the guest room. Trying to plan it so I can have lucien with me most of the time. Kev’s got some heavy duty work to do tomorrow. Tomorrow night when lucien goes to bed, I’m going to clean the living room, vacuum and then shampoo the carpet so that it dries ov

i got the laundry in the guest room folded and put away. I also built my scrapbook desk, so that giant box is now out of the front hallway. I still have to flip it over and push it against the wall. Once that is done, then all of the scrapbooking stuff can come off the bed and be put away in it’s new home. I have to shove the bed back over, figure out how to put the bookcase in the room then finish cleaning the rest of it. The floors need a good sweep and mop. Gotta work on the closet too. I would like to somehow get the sewing machine in there somewhere so it’s not sitting out and about. I have a bag of clothes and shoes that are going to be sold/donated, there are about 8 dresses in the guest room closet that need to be tossed into the bag.

Lots in there for the garage sale, I need to start rounding up all the stuff for it, the first indoor one for our neighbourhood is coming up in a month. I plan on 2 tables this year, need to recruit some help. Once that is all sorted out, I need to work on the kitchen. I’ve been barely able to keep my head up above the dishes which is astounding because kev and i have had nothing but takeout the past week and a half -lol- Once that is done, then I need to work on the bathroom cabinets.

And after those.. then i get to dust and vacuum the place, shampoo the carpets (Thanks Mr. barfypants kid!) and wash the dog beds. Before Saturday.

bummed around, watched Ratatouille for the 57294805729057432087428543th time. Made some photography packages, then headed out to do some grocery shopping with Juli while Lucien stayed home and napped with Daddy. We’ve all been feeling a bit under the weather the past couple of days, I hope it passes soon at least for Lucien. Poor mite, he’s coughing so hard it makes him barf.

make me wish i had a pool more readily available and free! lucien and i spent a good hour and 45 swimming in the waves and the kiddie pool today. by the end of it he was feeling pretty relaxed enough to actually try swimming. he spent lots of time floating on his back while i held his shoulders and he would hold onto my forearm and swim on his belly. he’s got new shorts too, which are super cute. i can’t find them on the old navy website, but they’re brown with yellow, red blue stripes on the leg, very retro.

got some cute things for lucien for the fall. did some banking. had chinese for dinner, caught mostly up with my 365 photos, some baby photos, and got everything ready to go to swimming tomorrow.
