Getting ready for the yearly wrap ups

I haven’t done much at all for them -lol- But I just found them in my archives from last year so I can take a peek at what I amazingly failed at because well I honestly don’t feel I’ve accomplished much personally this year other than going back to work, nearly going insane because of it and coming to the conclusion that I needed to quit. So I did. -bes unemployed-

I’ve also got my 2008 goals started, the usual healthy eating and exercise is on there.. but I am setting some for a bit of personal growth and tending house as well. Keep your eyes peeled for Tuesday, that’s when you’ll get all the dirt. That is if I can remember much from 2007, it’s all one messy blur.

Good thing there are black spots

on her or we’d have lost her out there

ok this seriously needs to stop. The snow we’re getting is unbelievable and well, we have enough thanks. Kev had to take the snow blower and cut paths in the backyard so Dutchess had a place to go without sticking her ass in a snowbank. It’s just going to get worse too. Bev.. you miss the snow? You can have all our snow!

Here’s our forecast. If we take the “middle” of each snow prediction we are still left with 50cm of snow. 19 inches folks. OFSNOW.

Windchill? -16.6F BRRRRRRRRR

i’m ready for spring.

Oh the weather outside is frightful

we have no fire being delightful…

So it’s supposedly snowing outside, with it getting really bad over night into tomorrow.

Regions over eastern Ontario including Ottawa and Gatineau will continue to see snow today with the heaviest snow falling tonight into Monday morning. Snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 centimetres are possible by Monday morning with an additional 10 to 20 by Monday evening. Total snowfall amounts of 30 to 40 cm are quite possible by Monday evening from this major storm.

That’s a possible total of 11-15 inches by tomorrow night. YAY FOR WINTER. Of course we got our first bit of snow 2 weeks ago and we were told it’d be all gone by last Monday. Well, not gone, still here and there’s more. I know, I know I live in Ottawa, but still! Last year we didn’t have snow that stayed until Dec 26th!

First snow on November 21.. you can see our neighbourhood bunny rabbit under the lamplit bush :)
First Snow

So the kid

when he’s completely done being held by you or contained in some sort of baby containment system will start crying “Free! Free!” sometimes he actually gets the “dom” in there too in his own little tribute to William Wallace. Lucien also has a few stuffed bear toys. He knows what they are by animal name. One of them for the past week has been in his crib upstairs.

Imagine the chuckle I had when he noticed the bear in the crib the other day and shouted “FREE BEER!”

22 days to go

until Christmas. Weeee
