AFTIFAF

Away from the internets for a few (at least till Monday). With the upcoming release of the last book in a very popular series, I’m stepping away from my usual haunts to avoid spoilage. You can still find me on MSN etc.

So a quick update, baby has a new tooth on the top, the second one is coming in as well – a few more days for that. he’s learned how to dance, for those of you who know where my dropshots account is, there is a video there. if not you can email me for it.

Work is work, making dinndinn.. a late birthday celebration for 2.25. Tiki masala chicken, tomato and chickpea soup, curried potato and peas with samosas and dessert. oh and some wine, hope it’s tasty, i just randomly picked one!

BOY is it hot in my kitchen.

Catsup ketchup catchup

WoW! Time flies. I’ve had lots to talk about lately but little time to get it all down. Now while L is playing happily on his own in his playpen, I’m at a loss for words as I try to remember all that has happened in the past week and a bit. I suppose we can start with the baby (he’s the easiest to remember):)

Categories

I don’t use them as much as I should be. I need to edit entries into categories, but the lazy in me says… maybe tomorrow.

Canada Day wrap-up

We spent a good portion of yesterday afternoon/evening with the lovely Pat & Carrie. We bbq’d (ok Kev did) jerk chicken, rice and peas, we had apple pie for dessert. Lots of good conversation, grumbling about the dog shedding all over the place, baby entertaining, movie watching and in the end a few fireworks. They had picked up a few roman candles, some sparklers and some spinny ones before heading over. Loosh wasn’t too keen on the bigger ones at first, but he REALLY liked the sparklers.
