I got all registered yesterday for my LINC classes. I will be attending “French School” Monday through Friday, 9am-11:30am.. from September 7th through December 10th. I’m rather excited about it, but rather nervous as well. It’s been 10 years since learning any sort of foreign language, and well.. the older you are, the less easy to learn it is.. Or so I’ve been told by “older” people on learning new tricks.. What was that saying about the dog? -laughs-
I want to pick up a learn French at home cd.. So I can start practicing now. I’m sure once the class starts I’ll have a list of dictionaries, supplement texts or something they’ll suggest to me. I just hope the lady that helped me yesterday isn’t my teacher.. she was rather confused herself.. and quite unsure what to make of me because I could read the application for registration that was all in French*L*
I registered for French courses yesterday. So it’s back to school for me in a way. I’m rather excited about it, as well as greatly nervous. Learning the language plays a lot into me being able to find a decent job. So here goes . Bonne chance!
The Rideau Raceway album has been updated with 6 new images. I started out with just over 400 images on Thursday night, and I ended up with 23 to work on. I chose 6 from that to finish and post.

• register for LINC classes. I’m sort of stuck on what time to do, day or eve. I suppose it depends on how often the class is held.
• go see flame. wash tack.
• wrap a gift.
• call my mommy (she called me)
Jhana F. in high school. She was my ever so gracious model over 10 years ago. Photograph was taken with a Nikon N50, 75-300mm lens, no clue anymore about any camera settings.. Cleaned up in photoshop: removed dust & scratches.
I spent a good 2 hours last night at the Rideau Raceway again. Mucked about with manual settings, adjusting the light settings and the what not as the sun set and the sort. I took about 400 photos, and I’ve narrowed it down to about 80 to work on, and I’ll probably get about 20 out of that, which are good to put up in the Gallery. So have a look for those in the upcoming days. I still have my Byward Market photos to do, as well as Sarah’s wedding photos.
