Logging industry. Log yard located outside of Hearst, Ontario.
Unfinished photo album project. Back in the summer, I bought 4 nice 100 page albums for super cheap at Michaels. I started right away.. got maybe 30 pages in… and well.. I got distracted by something shiney.. or moving.. something.. distracted…I really need to finish at LEAST my childhood/family album soon.
Rusty: we’re going to do something we’ve not done in YEARS

The past few days I’ve felt meh about posting-lol- Haven’t really had much to post about, and that I do want to post about.. I don’t want to post here.
I did however, made several posts to Picturing.. even did PhotoTime Tuesday’s entry. First meme there since January. I also took the first step today in getting rid of my shoddy portfolio of photographs, and move on to getting things ready for the next edition of it. I need to also finish my photo albums, before what little bit of sorting I had left to put in pages gets messed up-lol-
For now.. it’s time to get the mail.
Another old photograph. This one actually scanned in. This photograph of my friend Tim, was taking in 1995 at the Ann Arbor Art Fair. In the past almost 10 years, Tim has come a long way in his music career.
My mom’s cat. I took this photograph, sometime in 2002, I think. It had been forgotten about till now. I’m going through my folders of photographs, looking for images, that I might want to include in my portfolio. I’m getting on that project right now. I’ve put it off long enough, I know what I want to do basically with the images.. get those done.. and the rest will follow.
My Eye.
ok so w.r.a.i.t.h was so lovely, and posted who the artist is. Gig Keane. Upon searching for him, I have found a lovely stash of his images, including the picture I have back home, which is titled Peaches. The puppy print I got today, is titled Bucky. I’ve found a bunch of them listed of course on ebay…boy I sure do wish I had the cash-lol- Someday.. at least now I know what I’m looking for.
So I popped the print out of the uglyass frame. In the lower right hand corner like on the kitty print, there is the signature that looks like GigŠ and then Litho in USA. On the bottom left there are the letters “D.A.C., NY”.

The two signatures on the prints are very similar though the one on the cat image is more complete, but looking at the “G”, they are the same. I believe they are of a whole series of a sort, and I would really like to find more of them.the one i have back at my parents house, is of a similar style kitty as the first image.. but he’s looking through a “broken windowpane”, and i believe it is a white and orange tabby. i’ve emailed the parents to see if they can track him down. I can’t remember if he’s packed away in a trunk, or still floating loose in the house somewhere. These prints are at least 20 years old, because I’ve had the one at home, at least since I was 3-4 years old.
