after getting waxed, I went to Chapters and got me the Final Fantasy X-2 strategy guide. All I can say is.. It’s just as freaking confusing and messed up as the damn game is*L* I will give it this much.. it has some tasty art in it, it came with a poster, AND it’s not as give the story everything away as say, the Chrono Cross guide.. but seriously.. it reads terribly*L* Ermph.

So yesterday I finally got to see Return of the King. Hoollleeee crap. So sad, and so amazing at the same time. Out of all 3, it was the one book.. that while watching it, it was everything that I expected with the book and how it would appear. Of course, another of the sad parts of it, is that there is no more. I cannot wait for the extended version this fall.. and then probably next year the OMG HERE’S THE SUPERDUPER 80 HOUR EXTENDED VERSION boxset.. you know it’s coming! how long can you sit on your couch? I don’t know how people did Trilogy Tuesday! I barely survived the 3 and some odd hours of just RoTK.
So in light of seeing Sean Astin yesterday, I forced K and Marc to watch The Goonies last night. God I love that movie! Though at the end we watched the Cyndi Lauper video for The Goonies R Good Enough.. .and wow.. I can honestly say I DO NOT remember that thing being that messed up*L* OH and I thought that the “new” Orc leader in RoTK, looked like Sloth.. which was another reason I wanted to watch the Goonies.. No one can resist Sloth’s theme as he shouts out HEY YOUUUUU GUYYS!
that bothered me.
1. Person crossing the street. I understand you have the right away, but please understand that your slow ass is holding up turning traffic and potentinally creating an accident. Walk faster foo!
2. Stupid lady waiting in phone booth for the bus. I wish I had been walking, I’d have decided to need to make a phone call and then gave her hell for being so dumb, as to not be wearing proper winter clothing.
3. Chapters employees. Don’t argue with me about a price when the sign says right in front of you “All video game books 20% Off”.
4. People who walk their dogs on city streets in the winter and not put any kind of protective coverings on the poor dog’s feet. With all the chemicals, melting salts, rock salt etc that are put all over the roads and the walks you would think that you’d know how corrosive that stuff is. It’s obvious to see what it does to cars, leathers, clothing, why do you think that being on bare sensitive skin is any less harmful? Not to mention the dogs lick their feet when they get irritated or cold, therefore ingesting all of that horrible stuff!
5. All I had to do was freaking climb! Oh, and getting that ribbon? how in the hell is someone supposed to figure that out? Stereo installation instructions are more simple!!!!

it only took one call to get through.. Usually i get dropped by the system like a new born giraffe about 3-4 times before i get to the hold music.. and boy do they need more than 2 songs.. after about 10 minutes of waiting.. i got through to a “Paula”. She was quite polite and very helpful for once.. and didn’t even mind laughing at a joke.. that won me over :)
The questions I asked were bout the recieved by date on the site for spouse/common law partner class, it was being reported that July 7th was an incorrect date, but it IS fine. The second question I asked, was about the processing time, and let me tell you.. it was like waiting to hear if i had won the grand prize.. it IS 209 days from the received by date!
There were a few others about local CIC office refferals and if my application was in order, and to make sure that THEY weren’t waiting on us to send something to us..
But my happy day news is, roughly using 209 days from July 21st.. puts my application to being finished by the end of February!!!!
they’re up to July 7th, with 209 processing days! -bounce bounce- that was a jump of 12 days on the received by date. 12 FREAKING DAYS!.. and they’ve dropped processing time by 5 days… that leaves us with only 14 days between today’s listing and our recieved by date -bounces-
i just haven’t been bothered with meme’s lately.. theme thursday has gone undone for what will be 2 weeks i think, unconcious mutterings was left in the inbox and just deleted…

been working on some trivia things for a contest.. i finally am finished with that and i am glad, because eh.. it’s hard to keep up with it, and sort it out, and mesh with other people. i believe if i do this more often, i’m going to just do it myself-lol- it’s easier than collaborating.
i also decided there was a new workout involved for me. stairclimbing. k and i went friday, and we were quite adventurous with it. 22 flights of stairs.. i haven’t been able to walk the past 2 days. it’s mostly just the calf muscles, and they’re just now starting to feel better.. so i just walked down them to get the mail and then back up. and wow.. walking DOWN hurt so incredibily much, walking up was a breeze. but this every day combined with other things, i think i have a plan :) now if you’ll excuse me, i have to go gimp my way into the kitchen and make some lunch.
