was a long day

babysat a friend’s daughter.. kev too our kiddo for most of the day because the other one was needing lots of TLC.

The Turtle is Green

why yes.. yes it is little kid. Thank you for that morning highlight -feels proud-

Oh wait, you just chucked the turtle at the dog…-sighs-

Today is Family Day here in Ontario. Where people get the paid day off to spend with their families.. as long as they’re not Federal workers, or restaurant workers….Sounds great, to have a holiday in between New Years and Good Friday, but not everyone thinks so.

All I know is come 3pm when I’m bored out of my tree because there is nothing to do, I’m going to be pissed because everything is closed.

today i have also learned

a very important lesson in photo management, mostly focusing on always saving working files. I’ve relied far too much on the “oh i can just recreate it later” line of thinking, where today, NO.. no i was not able to recreate it later as it’s been years since I first achieved the effect I desire so much.

spent more time on the phone today

than i have in a long while

bevietime is always a good thing and it’s been far too long since chatting with her.

dollar store binge!

going to the dollar store tomorrow to get things to photograph the little man with. it’s been a long while since i did any kind of set up portraits with him (he was 39 weeks! he’s 75 weeks now!). Maybe some more yarn. I need to do up yarn balls so i can start my crocheting projects
