Black Friday is an American thing?
No shit really?!
Never would have figured that out living the first 23 years of my life in oh, AMERICA.
I recently asked on an Ottawa site if anyone knew of any local retailers holding their own sales this weekend due to the exchange rate being what it is in an effort to keep Canadians and their buying power local… and I got a pop culture history lesson on Black Friday being the big day to shop after American Thanksgiving.
Thanks for that, as I was clueless. Oh and I still didn’t get my question answered.
