Looking ahead
to take care of identity things.
I’m filling ‘ve filled out my citizenship application for Canada. I need to get Loosh’s SIN card this week. I need to also take him to the US Embassy and sort out his US citizenship papers and all that. Not really sure what’s involved in it, but it will involve lots of paper, and probably some cursing, probably some money and waiting around for someone to do something. I also have to look into getting his little Canadian passport too.

Wow, we’re in a semi-similar position! I need to go to the Canadian consolute to figure out what I need to do to get the kids Canadian citizenship. I have the paper work all done for their US passport, but need to turn those in. It’s all kind of overwhelming, really. *sigh*

ha, i am about to do my american in the hopes that i can have everything filed and back in time to do some voting. if i’m gonna live here i’d at least like to have a say! i can apply after may 24th, my 3 years of being a resident! but yeah. money…paperwork…love drives to consulates…man they sure love watching us jump thru hoops!!!
