Weight checkup, photo ideas and decorating.

Lucien had his checkup this morning to see if he’s put on any weight. He has. It’s a bit freaky. Since Wednesday noontime to this morning around 10am, he’s gained half a pound. I guess that’s the power of formula. The Dr. seemed pleased and he was very impressed with how talkative Lucien is and how he interacts with people. We get to continue to supplement till the 15th when we reassess his weight and my supply. I’m hoping this stuff works amazing and I can discontinue using the formula for good. One upside to making sure there is EBM to mix with the formula is that I’m able to get a bit more at each pumping session. Here’s to that and the drugs!

I got to drive to downtown through some seriously nasty weather for my dr. appt this afternoon. I got my domperidone prescription and came back through even nastier weather. I took my first pill about an hour ago. Let’s cross our fingers.

I also need to whip up some photo ideas for this weekend. I may have already mentioned this, but i’m too lazy to check so i’ll talk about it again! But I have a bunch of cute things I want to do with Lucien for Christmas photos. Lights, ornaments, candy canes… I just need to figure out the logistics of it, what to use in what shots. Plan it out so that my time is used well and I can work efficiently with it. I think my biggest bitch about doing photos with my stuff is I always feel so disorganized and uncomfortable. They say practice makes perfect, so I supposed I should start practicing

Continuing on…

One person calls it DecBloPoO (December Blog Posting Overacheivers)

I will call it. MOtivation.

Last day of November

I was talking to Jenn last night and I realized how quickly this year has gone by. In just a short month, it will be a full year to when we discovered that I was expecting. There have been so many changes since that crazy New Years night, a few discoveries (apparently I did cut up and serve the cheese and it didn’t get stuck somewhere in a drawer), some losses, some gains and the year isn’t even over yet!

I decided to do this NaBloPoMo task for the month of November to really push myself into using my blog, which over the past few years has become increasingly stale. I’ve succeeded in creating a post for every day, however for quite a bit of it, I feel like I cheated by using too many surveys. I had this list of things that were of good solid writing to tackle and I didn’t. I’ve made the decision to keep at this posting every day business and maybe I’ll get around to those topics I didnt’ get to.
