file conversions, egg mcmuffins and screaming babies

we went to Algonquin today to see the Christmas plant show. Did some photos, shot in RAW.. the laptop has been cranking away for the past HOUR converting 125 images to TIFF format. I’ll be burning the RAW to a DVD I think after this is done. Holy crow I forgot how much space those suckers took up. Hopefully I’ll have some nice shots to work with and make some Cafepress swag for future holiday item buyers!

Poor L has been screaming for the past hour first because of gas and now because he’s hungry. Mom is sitting here feeding him and he’s passing out. Looks like he’ll be napping while we have dinner. SCORE!

I used my Egg and Muffin maker this morning for breakfast. OH GOD. It’s so tasty having fresh Egg McMuffins here at the house. YAY! It’s super easy to use and takes about 5 minutes from start to finish. We have sausage open right now to use for it, once that’s gone we have some ham. I think I’d like to brown the sausages before sammich making but if I’m not feeling lazy or in a hurry. Gonna see if there is some creative recipes out there to use with the eggs and that.

Teriyaki beef and chicken tonight for dinner. YUM. Tomorrow one of Kev’s schoolmates is coming over for a visit before they head back to the Northern Wilds of Quebec where his wife is a school teacher. We also hope to have Adrienne and Michel over on Saturday before they leave for London, UK.

Anyhoos, dinner is on the table. Chowtime.
