Holy Update Batman!

I just realized it’s been ages since updating just about anything here on this photo blog as well as it’s sideshow galleries. I can honestly blame flickr for that, I update that nearly daily now, which in itself has led me to question why I keep this blog going. BUT! here I am updating yet again.

after 2 months

i FINALLY remembered my yahoo password.

i had changed it because of a phishing scam and duh! i forgot what it was!

you bet your happy ass i just changed it to something easier to remember *L*

Spring Cleaning

As the mistress of lists, I’ve decided to take this house by the horns so to speak. Things are a little slow with work right now so I have lots of time to spare.

I’ve created room checklists, a document to help me declutter, as well as a “to do” list for both inside and outside projects. I did a good bit of raking dead grass out of the lawn, poop duty in the yard and raked the back garden clear of debris. I need to cut back my roses, they’ve gonen feral again. Courey says they’ll resprout leaves even if I cut them. One of the “branches” is nearly 3.5 feet high. I hate those stupid things so I don’t want them that big.

The hostas and lilies of the valley are sprouting up front and back, the tulips and daffie are blooming in the front yard. We have plans once they’re done to rip out the front garden. The one bush I really liked, for some reason isn’t doing well at all. So it’s time for it to go. This way we can really groom up the area and transplant some hostas, plant some new bulbs in the fall. Make it pretty! I’d like to get some more “top bricks” like we have for the veg garden in the back, and place them along the front garden. Fill it in with dirt to raise it up a bit . But we shall see. We’re still a few weeks away because of the tulips blooming.

I need to prep my flower boxes for herbs and flowers. Fix them up nice in a few weeks with some annuals and get the seeds started by the 15th for the herbs. My seedlings in the kitchen are doing well. Once we work in the mushroom compost in the veg garden, I’ll be putting my little seedlings out probably around the 15th as well. We have little covers for them to keep some pesky squirrels away as well as protect them from strong winds and frost.

22 weeks?

Yes by calculations I’ve jumped a few days!

At our ultrasound Monday, the u/s tech measured little baby at 21 weeks 4 days, when by original calculations I was just 21 weeks. So baby is growing quite well. As already stated, we’re having a little boy and everything looks good developmentally. Baby is also a mover and a shaker. At our appointment last week with my ob, he had to chase the baby around to get the heartbeat. At the u/s this week, we actually got to see the little booger punching at the dopplar *L* I have also updated my wishlist page over on my sidebar as well as the baby’s page.

As for myself, I’m growing as well. I need to take my weekly photo. I suppose I can combine 21/22 together *L* I find getting around a little more diffulcult lately. Going up and down the stairs gets me a bit winded. I’ve adopted the pregnant lady roll out of bed/off the couch technique. As of last Monday I had only gained 9 pounds, tomorrow morning I’ll weigh myself again. I forgot to today.

So here are the promised photos :) They’re linked to larger versions. Continue reading ‘22 weeks?’

I think the colour says it all
