ok first and foremost. The Bay’s clothing designers should be shot for their designs for the Canadian athletes. My GOD those are some freaking HIDEOUS clothes. Bring back ROOTS. At least those jackets and hats didn’t look like they were sewn by 7th grade home ec kids.
and secondly? i can’t handle these sappy stories they show about the athletes and all of that. their trials, their family. ugh. hello waterworks. it’s just not a good time to see the sappy stuff.
oh.. and teh medals? who thought used CDs were a good idea?
Quite a bit actually. The week has been busy and slow all at the same time. I’m finding time not passing fast enough for me, but at the same time, passing all too quickly. Still so much to blog about, still so much time till things are ready. In the next few weeks. Soon. I know i’ve been saying that for a few months now, but yeah.. Soon :) Just know that all is well. I am healthy, Kevin is mostly healthy (he’s battling some nasty food poisoning right now), Dutchess is healthy, Flame starts his training this week. The house is still standing, and the car still runs.
I am anxiously awaiting spring. I want to start my seeds, I want to open the windows and let the fresh air blow through the house, clearing out all the cobwebs of winter. I want to till the garden, tend to the yard. So many plans to make for around here. Maybe my fence will be cheaper this year, but most likely not.
Work has kept me plenty occupied. I’m doing a new design as well as creating some blogs to go with existing sites etc. Template matching all that fun stuff. Hopefully the first round of designs will go over well and I’ll be able to move into creating the new look very quickly.
I spent an extraordinary amount of time sorting and cleaning my computer’s harddrives this past week as well. I haven’t sorted ANYTHING in the past oh nearly year. Recieved files, saved images, edited photos, brainstorming folders, music, etc. Took me about 3 days to get it all put away. The drives are nice and clean now though which makes me quite happy!
