Dutchess had her picture done with Santa today at Critter Jungle. I can’t wait to see how they turned out. She was a bit weirded out by the experience. They had a full sleigh there for Santa to sit in. She willingly jumped up into the sleigh with him, but wasn’t so sure about getting up on the seat next to him. It was a bit too couchlike for her comfort level. She’s not allowed on the couch you see. Santa had to moosh way over to the side and I had to stand behind the sleigh with the baby calling her to come up and sit with Santa while Kev shooed her from the other side. After a few tries we got her to sit there, but unfortunately for Dutchess she has to be in the store for a good hour before she mentally checks back in. I think Natalie got a photo that was decent out of the 4 or 5 she took.

I wrapped up the rest of Wednesday’s photo session with Lucien today. They’re uploaded in his gallery for those partial to the login information. I still have to edit the captions and that, but the images are there for viewing. I also need to work up the large files and upload them to CVS for my mom to pick up on Monday. I wish I had them done by yesterday, as she went and stayed with my grandparents today.

I’ve been tossing around Christmas present ideas in my head for the past couple of days. We have issues with trying to figure out what to get the parents on both sides without breaking the bank. I THINK I have a pretty good idea. I just have to get everything together for it. I also have some Christmas card ideas, but I think I’m really pushing it for time. I already know I’m past the “guarenteed” by Christmas delivery. Part of me just wants to say bugger it, send one the grandparents and be done with it.
