Today Lucien had his first in a series of Meningitis shots, that went as well as all shots can go. Full of screaming and tears. However the big concern was him being weighed and discovering he’d only gained an ounce in the past 3 weeks. -sighs- So we’re supplementing for the next little while with formula to bring his weight up. I also have a dr. appt for myself Friday afternoon to get a prescription for Domperidone, which should increase my milk supply. I have to take Lucien back to the dr. on Friday am for a weigh in to see if he’s gained anything between this morning and then. I’ll also be taking him to the well baby clinic next Thursday to get weighed as well.
I think the combination of my IUD and this month’s growth spurt just put a double whammy on the poor little guy. He’s zonked out right now. If anything the formula will knock him out better for naps and bedtime.
