Another Christmas Survey
OK so I suck with the surveys. I promise a more meaty post later on.
1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
Hot Chocolate. I’m REALLYpicky about my egg nog
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just set them under the tree?
Both. Large odd shaped presents weren’t though.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
White and Red LEDs
4. Do you hang mistletoe?
nope
5. When do you put your decorations up?
After the first of December. We gotta clean out the workroom for our freezer order we have coming on Monday. Hopefully that will allow me to find all the goods for decorating.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish?
Stuffing. Kev made the most kickass sausage stuffing last year. CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS YEARS!
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child?
My dad used to tie fishing line around these old sleighbells we hung on the front door. He’d ring them from his bedroom to let me know that Santa just left.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
I still believe :)
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
We usually open the gifts from our various immediate family members. For ourselves (and my Mom) we open the bulk of our stuff Christmas morning
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree?
Red and white LED lights, maroon bulbs and cream bulbs with a few various ornaments. some are from my grandmother’s tree and some are gifts from friends.
11. Snow! Love it or hate it?
Love it for about the first week or two.. after that it gets old around here.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
My parents got me this brass unicorn music box one year. I can’t remember the name of the song it plays, but it’s a hymn and i love it. It’s still at my mom’s on my piano.
14. What’s your favorite thing about the holidays?
Family time, decorating the tree
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert?
Sweet potato pie, pumpkin pie, better than sex cake,
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
So far it’s decorating the tree. We’re still making our own traditions.
17. What tops your tree?
A wee crocheted angel that was an ornament from my grandmother’s tree. The tree is too tall for a proper star.
18. Which do you prefer giving or Receiving?
Giving.
19. What is your favorite Christmas Song?
O Holy Night
20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum?
YUM! Specially in my hot cocoa!
21. What’s number one on your Christmas list this year?
Haven’t really thought much about it. New glasses? I’m so practical *L*
