1. Hot Chocolate or Apple Cider?
I like them equally. Hot chocolate with a shot of peppermint schnapps in it.. or maybe some hot mulled Cider with a shot of Spiced rum.. mmmmm

2. Turkey or Ham?
Again, I don’t play favourites. For Christmas though, I’d say Turkey. Ham’s more an Easter thing for me.

3. Do you get a Fake or Real Christmas tree?
Fake. I’m allergic to pine. Plus I hate hate hate the mess and killing a tree.

4. Decorations on the outside of your house?
We have lights for the front bushes, a wreath for the house, and wintery wall hanger for the shed

5. Snowball fights or sledding?
Havent’ done either in ages, but both are fun. Sledding is a bit scary.

6. Do you like hanging around the fireplace because it’s warm?
Yup. I heart me some fireplace time. As does Dutchess

7. Do you enjoy going downtown shopping?
I love shopping downtown. I love Rideau Mall, I love the Market.. I freaking HATE driving downtown and parking. ugh ugh ugh.

8. Favorite Christmas song?
O Holy Night

9. How do you feel about Christmas movies?
I’m ok with them. I’m not crazy about It’s a Wonderful Life, but some other stuff is decent. I am a sucker for teh Santa Clause movies, the kiddie cartoons.

10. When is it too early to start listening to Christmas music?
Before December 1

11. Is Santa Claus really real?
Well duh!

12. Carolers, do you or do you not watch and listen to them?
We don’t have any, but I’d watch and listen if we did. I’ve gone carolling once or twice.

13. Go to someone else’s house or they come to you?
We’re going to Kev’s mom’s this year.

14. Do you read the Christmas Story
Not usually, but we will this year for the baby :) It’ll be a nice tradition to start.

15. What do you do after presents and dinner?
Sit around and chat. Sometimes we play UNO at Kev’s dad’s.

16. What is your favorite holiday smell?
Cinnamon and other sort of baking spice smells

17. Ice skating or walking around the mall?
Ice skating. Less people.

18. Favorite Christmas memory?
Decorating my Nanny’s tree

19. Favorite Part about winter?
The first snow. After that forget it.

20. Favorite Christmas decor?
My Tree

21. Lights: Colored or Clear?
Outside, multi coloured. Inside, red/white on the tree

22. What is the best Christmas gift you ever received?
Lucien, although at the time we didn’t know -l-

23. What is your favorite Christmas tradition in your family?
We’re making new traditions. We decorate the tree together so far.
