lest i forget and totally blow NaBloPoMo!
I’m just sort of cooling my heels right now. Had a shower, folded laundry.. waiting to leave to go get my mom. Snacked on a Reese PB Cup, bit the inside of my cheek-grumbles- When I go to the dentist soonish I’m gonna ask him to round the edges of a few of my molars. I have some seriously sharp chompers and my fat little cheeks are paying the price!
We had lunch earlier with a friend of ours from the bank. It’ll be good to get on friendlier terms with her. She’s a sweet girl. Spent the day cleaning up a bit, ran the vacuum, cleaned up the kitch, finished cleaning the guest room, did a bunch of laundry. Mom will be here for 10 days. Plan spending most of it here at home, watching movies with her. Chilling out with the little man, taking photos. I’m want to do a little bit of sightseeing with her, just have no idea what. She’s not much into art, there’s always the science museum, but she’s not very sciencey either, but I think she’d at least find it interesting *L*
We have some doctor’s appointments next week. Lucien has his 2 month needles on Monday, then he has another appointment on the 8th for some growth and development checks and then the 9th is my post partum checkup finally! Which reminds me, I have to go get my IUD tomorrow from the pharmacy, so that the checkup is worth going to.
Sandi and I have a date night Friday. Mom’s babysitting with Kev backing her up. Should be fun, I’ll post some more details about that.. after it happens. -smirks- I have enough milk pumped for Friday, I gotta get moving so I have enough for next weekend. Kev’s mom is taking Lucien Friday night and Saturday afternoon for a few hours. We’re going to see Gordon Lightfoot Friday and then the Royal Lippizan Stallions on Saturday. The tickets for Gordon are less than impressive (I got up late and snagged some of the last tickets) but the tickets for the horse show are on the floor first row, center section dead center! I am waiting to hear back about their camera policy. The horse people allow flash photography however ScotiabankPaladiumCorelCentrePlace says it’s per event, and that for Sens games they do not allow flash photography, SLRs or digital cameras. So who freaking knows. -waits-
Righto, time to go collect the mother. Pray for Lucien not to be cranky pants when she gets here. This kid will not nap this afternoon/evening and is gearing up to be extra grumpy.
