28 weeks & nesting
i’ve started to nest i think. spurred on by needing to clean house for michel and adrienne’s bon voyage party this weekend. so far i’ve started or done pretty much everything that DOESN’T need to be done for company. including laundry, sorting the workroom a bit and cleaning out the front closet. i’m on a roll! of course tomorrow i’ll be all MEH and not wanting to do much. however i shall push on and get it all taken care of. hopefully having a big clean and then just maintenance will do me for the rest of this pregnancy -lol- most likely not, but hey i hear that’s what week 36 is for.
Baby is approximately 14-15 inches long now, real estate is becoming slim and he’s letting me know all about it. he’d been relatively quiet and almost sluggish in movement the past week, and i was chalking that up to this modified GD diet they have me on. it makes ME sluggish feeling. people need carbs for a reason.. it’s called ENERGY. i had little to spare to start with dammit -lol- but i guess we’re both adjusting. I eat mostly what i’m supposed to, and i’ve not had any high sugar levels at all even when i eat bad things. i haven’t heard from my dr’s office about my second glucose test, so i’m assuming that is because my sugars were fine and there was no reason to be OMG THEY’RE SO HIGH like the first test. my next appointment is on monday, so we’ll get the results then and maybe some answers about my trip to the hospital and what the hosptial said was wrong with me. monday’s appointment also is my last “every 4 weeks” appointment and i believe i’ll be moving up into every 2 weeks. i have a feeling i also will be making ALL my appointments for the rest of my pregnancy then, at least that’s what it sounded like the last time i was there. JOY! guess i need to make a list of known sorry can’t be there dates.
that’s it really for now. it’s been same old same old really. updated my flickr account quite a bit, the dragon boat races are this weekend, i’ll probably head out there on sunday to catch some of the action for the photo club. Apparently we’ll have the opportunity to be on the press boat, I’m not so sure i want to. -lol-

Listen, I forgot to mention. Your nerve endings are a little more acute as pregnancy progresses so in conclusion, our date with the torture lady Saturday morning is really really going to hurt.
