Maternity Clothing and Travel
I’ve purchased my first few things of clothing in the past few days. Just 4 days ago I was complaining about how I didn’t look or feel very pregnant, and now today I feel as if my pants are slicing me in half. It’s almost as if Baby has decided well! it’s 18 weeks, i’m to be THIS size now and just POOF happened to be that size. I picked up a really nice black skirt with a roll bellyband, some stretchy soft cotton tees from Old Navy, that while are not mat shirts, will do just fine as them, I also got a nice tank top and white cover shirt to go with my skirt and a pair of khaki roll belly band pants. I would like to find a pair of jeans, but Old Navy’s were styled to look like they had been worn for 10 years prior to being on the shelf. Maybe the Sears at St. Laurent will have some, the Sears at Rideau certainly didn’t. As a fact, they don’t even HAVE a maternity department AT ALL!
I’m getting ready to head out to Michigan for about 10 days. I leave Wednesday. I have a full schedule as usual meeting with friends and family. It’s a bit hectic and crazy. People are whining because they feel they’re not seeing me enough while I’m home. I’m feeling a bit bitchy and really don’t care. They should feel lucky they’re seeing me at all. The last trip I was home, I barely saw my mom because I was out so much with friends. If they have a problem with me wanting to spend more time with my mother than can go suck it. At least while at my dad’s they can’t get to me *L* I am feeling very scattered about traveling. I have just about everything packed. I just have to get my carry on bag and my camera backpack all sorted out so that I have everything ready for that.
I feel really fussy about going. There is a lot to do here. The yard is primed for getting ready for spring. My dog has some serious allergies going on with her sneezing. I’m feeling a wee bit nesty and want to spring clean. I need to start my seeds for the garden, except I can’t find my tomato and hot pepper seeds. meh meh meh.

awws you have a baby bump! how adorable!
my dog has really bad allergies. we just had to take him in yesterday for an allergy shot. luckily one a year seems to get him through spring and summer. if he doesnt get it, he scratches like crazy and his hair falls out. (he had a bald belly and a bald butt before he started his shots).
