i do not. sometimes i wish i was, because if so, i’d be having a blast right now *L*
this weekend held lots of things that were relaxing as well as over too quickly. Saturday was a day of dog walking, lounging and eating. We took Dutchess out for a good long stroll, watched a movie and then headed to Marc’s for birthday celebrations. Sunday was the Fall Challenge for the photo club. I was up bright and early out taking photos. I had some camera issues, but I think overall things went very well. I would have liked to stay the rest of the day out, but my guts had other ideas after lunch, plus we were to be at M&B’s for Thanksgiving dinner part 1. Yesterday was spent lounging, I took a nap in front of the fireplace with Dutchess while K was out fixing B’s computer. Then we were off to G&J’s for Thanksgiving dinner part 2. G cleaned my camera for me because the sensor was filthy.
I have some pics from Sunday’s photo outing up already, though I will eventually seperate some of the photos, make them bigger etc, but I wanted something up quickly for people to see. Go have a look, maybe leave some comments there. Thanks. And now.. back to the grind.

Yesterday brought the news that one of the world’s greatest dogs passed away Monday afternoon. Nici rang me to ask for photos of Shylock, I immediately knew. Shy had been slowly declining over the past few years due to her hip dysplasia, the question would always be “is this winter going to be the one?” At least this way, Shy saved Nici from having to make a diffulcult choice. She will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace Shybear, I love you.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together….
