Well we don’t have a team this year. Why? Lack of confirmation from people, either just signing up or not even taking the time to tell me sorry no time, don’t want to, can’t be bothered. I needed 4 more people to make it happen, and all I heard were cricket chirps. Everyone knows my one panic button is lack of planning, and wow did this ever make my skin crawl.

In anycase, Juli and I are still planning on going and walking in support of my mom and her survival on October 2. My mum was to join us this year, however she is preparing for some reconstructive surgery, so she is unable to attend. Maybe next year who knows.

It’s really disheartening to plan for something like this, to support a good cause, your mother and all of that, and just be left sitting there twiddling your thumbs because you have no answers. I should just stop planning, that way I don’t have to worry about being shafted by people and having my own day fucked up.
