about what is going on &emdash; i apologize for that. I’ve been keeping busy with work, some photos, hanging out with Jenn, trying to catch up on sleep, dieting. I’ve put up and reorganized some galleries over on Picturing’s Galleries. The latest are in the PhotoClub album with Fall Challenge and Scavenger Hunt, I’ve moved the Meech Lake gallery into the Ottawa Album (Gatineau Parc) and I’ve created in the Ottawa album a nested gallery for Mer Bleue. I’m currently saving my pennies for a new camera. I currently have enough right now, but with mine and K’s recent table/chair/mattress purchase combine with the holidays coming up, I need to just wait a bit longer. Maybe I’ll get lucky and in a few months the price will drop again. Miss Sandi wants me to do portraits of her, S and the girls for Christmas. I need to get on that and plan with her.

About a year ago, I met a friend through Marc. Her name is Jenn. It has been one of those “we gotta go hang out” type of relationships since then, however in the past few weeks we’ve realized that we live very close to each other and well honest truth, we have a damn good time when we hang out. She sells Mary Kay products, I’m a willing guinea pig.. In turn, she went with me to Mer Bleue on Saturday. I have a diffulcult time seeing good shots in nature photography settings. I love landscape photography, however I miss a lot of little elements that may give a “pretty” view, something fantastic. Jenn however has a fantastic eye for it *L* As we strolled the boardwalk, she would point out different things, I’d take the photograph. She’s also agreed to participate as my victim model for the Faces and Figures competition that will be coming up soon. I’ve also started getting her hooked on the Harry Potter. I never posted my halloween photos, you will find those at the bottom of this entry *L* However, I mentioned to Jenn we were going to do the opening day thing, I wanted to dress up but no one would dress up with me (aside from Marc who threatens me daily with BobaFett, but now has agreed not to… sort of). She said she would, so we’ve got 11 days to watch the second and third movie(we watched the first on saturday). She’s gonna wear my robe and grey pants with white shirt, I’ll be wearing just the uniform. I’m going to paint her a tie to wear and one for Marc. Maybe Kev will buck up and go with us :)

As far as the dieting goes, as some of you know I’ve got some digestional problems, with the new meds my dr. has given me, things seem to be working a bit better down in the guts. Hopefully with that, my body will soon sort itself out combined with healthier/less eating and I’ll drop a few pounds. Today was to be my start back to the gym day, however (here comes the excuse) it’s going to be busy with work, and then I have photo club tonight. No time. I have lost 5 pounds in the past week and a half, due mostly I think to water weight. I’ve been drinking lots of water and tea, cutting back on the amount of juice I drink. Cherie and Bevie can attest to how much Clamatto juice I can consume on a daily basis. The stuff is liquid crack I tell you. One 20 ounce serving (pint glass*L*) of the stuff is 290 calories, in a morning I could easily drink 3-4 glasses. Now, I have 1/2 a glass to wash down my vitamen and omega3-6-9 pill and that is it. I’ve been rather poor the past few days with soda however, damn gingerale. It seems innocent enough!

So yeah that’s essentially all that’s been going on in the past few week or a bit… I’m looking forward and dreading the holidays. I can’t wait to go tree and decoration shopping, however cooking 2 dinners and entertaining for a week over Christmas stresses me out a bit. Should prove interesting however.

and now for photos. i want to do better photos.. and remember to fix my undershirt so that I don’t look so lumpy *L*
