Well tonight was the presentation. I did pretty well by first time out club standards. There are several levels to the club’s competition structure. Photographers start out as Juniors, then move to Intermediates, then to Senior and then to Master. You need 8 competition results(entries) with a score of 21 or better to move from Junior to Intermediates, 9 results of 24 or better to move from Intermediates to Senior and then 10 results of 26 or higher to go up to Master. Currently we only have 2 masters in the club.
I recieved 2 Honourable Mentions. The wood duck photo recieved a score of 21 points and my polar bear recieved a score of 22 points. If I had one more point on that bear I would have placed third in the general entry category*L* So I’m only 6 off from being able to move up to Intermediate. If I continue to do as well as I did tonight, I’ll have that squared away by the end of January *L*
