I used to love getting together with people and doing things. Usually I was the organiser. I got a bee in my bonnet about people either saying no from the outset or ringing me on the day and saying "you know tonight isn't going to work for me".... So I stopped organising. What do you know, we stopped doing things together. I guess that means I kinda know how you feel.. I know my school put together a team for the Run for the Cure, and I sponsored a couple of people too. Don't give up... the more you try for it, the more it'll become implanted in people's psyches... they will come to associate this time of year with the run. Everyone will know someone - probably someone close to them - who has had cancer. I know I do.
