marc, if you’re as bad off
I joined a gym today. It’s right near the house, so it’s easy to get to. I plan on riding my bike there, so that I’m good and warmed up ready to go when I arrive.
I’m feeling ambitious, there are 60 minute classes 4 out of 7 days that I want to attend.. with the other 3 days to switch up on the more aerobic type machines. I purchased 6 sessions with a trainer to get me started as well. Make sure I’m doing things right, work out an exercise plan.. They have a circuit training section that you do with the trainer.. kinda sucks you can’t use it otherwise, but I’ll get to use it for a while.
The classes I’m interested in are:
Newbody:
Newbody is a low-impact muscle specific workout. It is designed to be simple to follow, aerobic in nature, so emphasis can be placed on getting results! The workout is designed to meet the needs of all fitness levels, options are provided to use light hand held weights. I
Body Step:
BODYSTEP is a simple, athletic workout with high intensity intervals followed by muscle conditioning tracks that will shape and tone your entire lower body and push your fat burning systems into high gear.
Body Flow:
BODYFLOW is a revolution in mind/body training that will change the way you feel about your body – forever. You’ll stand straighter, feel stronger, become more flexible and more physically aware. Designed for all fitness levels, BODYFLOW is set to uplifting music and will increase your endurance, reduce stress and relieve pain.
Flexible Strength:
Flexible Strength is a unique training session focusing on improving muscular strength and stamina and flexibility. Focus will be on movement (with components of Yoga) that simulate and enhance daily life activities. A great training session for all levels of fitness.
I suppose I’ll be making a schedule. I figure I can use the time in the AM to go to the class or use the machines. In the evening I’ll be going to see Flame and riding. That way he is outside for most of the day and I’m not taking away his playtime.
