Meh.. Not a whole lot going on
The trip down was pretty uneventful… didn’t sleep much, the train was uncommonly busy for a Thursday during the day. Yesteday Lori and went to the mall. We spent quite a bit of time roaming about looking at things. I got some new bras at VS, batted off annoying sales girls trying to tell me I need a VS card for all the AMAZING savings I will have with it. I also got the world’s cutest skirt. As well a giftie for K. After that we headed out to the WallyWorld for babyshopping. I really hate those registry lists you get printed out.. Especially ones that were not scanned in order, or if the machine has no “sorting” headers past what department they in (ex. isle number etc). We spent a good 2.5 hours hunting down burp cloths, pooh bear accesories and other such things. After that we popped over to Kohl’s for some shoes, a baby dress.. then off to McDonalds to get a quick snack for the kiddo before dropping her off at Grandma’s. Yes that’s right, we had the baby with us all day. And she was SUPERduper good. Never cried never fussed.. and she didn’t run screaming from me this time. She’s starting to remember who Aunt Becka is -beams- She’s my little monkey.
Getting back to mom’s, we got dressed, wrapped baby presents, and then ran off to A2. We wolfed down a happy meal on the way, got there to discover a LINE.. and theyw ere selling TICKETS.. like whoa.. when’d they start doing that at the Blind Pig.. Then i realized i had not been there for nearly 9 years.. -bes old- While waiting in line freezing our butts off, Tim came by and we chatted. I took pictures, but there were a lot of people there for the other dude playing that night. It was hard to get any good shots.. but hopefully i got SOMETIHNG in there. They also had CDs for sale so I picked up H.O.M.E.S vol2 turned self Titled for GLMS. It’s SO well done..Tim signed it for me, what he wrote made me cry. He’s such a big meanie-lol- It was probably one of the sweetest things any of my friends have ever said to me.
After A2, we went to TImeOut here back here in the Stomping Grounds. That bar gets progressively sucky with every time i go there. However it WAS the best 2 bucks i spent all day. As the giant fat chick dancing with short skinny nerd boy proved to be more entertaining than anything i can dare to describe.. because they were BOTH drunk beyond drunk.
Washed the truck this morning, finished wrapping baby presents. I should be getting ready to go to the shower as well.. I want to be there by 230 and it’s 20 minutes to 2. So I suppose I should end this now. I hope all you are doing well out there.
OH! Rusty :) I got the package yesterday afternoon. It’s beautiful, she’s going to LOVE it. Both Lori and my mom want one now too *L* Oh, and I had a bit of a weird moment. Whoever wrote the address to send the package, we have the exact same handwriting. It was very strange, my mom was like how in the hell did she send a package to herself from Kansas *L* IN anycase, thank you and your mom so very much!! :) xo.
