is a bog.. not only do we have the melt, but we have the rain from today and tomorrow AND apparently the neighbours melt and rain as their yard is graded to drain properly. ugh. ugh. ugh.

get in them gumboots, run around in the bog and get muddy. It’s very good for the complexion.

Also be glad the water lays in your backyard, and it doesn’t drain into your basement, as it does ours.

man that reminds me of my old yard, i really need to scan some pics, looks about identical…other than we also had 2X4s running like a plank bridge across the bog to get us out to our driveway where our cars were parked *L* on the cold days u could just skate across, on the wet rainy days…quicksand city my friend!
