He puzzled and puzzled till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before! Maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas… perhaps… means a little bit more!
The trip back was pretty uneventful. I had an annoying jabberbox next to me from Windsor to Toronto, and 4 drunk idiots behind me from Toronto to Ottawa. Not much sleep was gotten on the way home.. which just made the trip seem that much longer. The last hour from Smith’s Falls to here nearly made me weep I was just so ready to be home.
I have lots to write about, some of you already know the bulk of it, some of you do not. But it will be tasking to write about all of it, so I’m putting out the warning that it may take a while, and you probably won’t see it till after Christmas.. possibly after the first of the year.
I have lots to do today, and we’re getting a winter storm. It kinda sucks yo. I suppose I’ll finish up this cup of coffee and have my shower. Make a list, check it twice.. wtf.. I’m done Christmas shopping screw that.. I just need wrapping paper. But I also have to go to the bank, and to see Flame. Meh.
is going well. I’ve been spending time with nikki, I’ve seen Lorie, Todd and a few others. I’m going to see Steph today while shopping, Lorie again tomorrow morning.. Karen and them on Tuesday, Todd possibly again on Monday.
I haven’t really done much for my 26 things list. I should take the camera to the mall and do that. I’m sure I could knock out at least 15 of them with the Christmas decorations there. I had hoped to do this with someone else, but they don’t seem to be very interested in spending time with me this week. That’s ok. They want to do their “own thing”, I just hope they understand they are hurting someone’s feelings.\
My mom has effectively thwarted my christmas shopping plans for her. In the space of a week, she’s purchased at least one thing i already got her, and then bought something i was GOING to buy her. I had to yell at her and remind her it was a week before christmas and to knock that shit off*L*
or almost for them. I’ll be at the homestead for 10 days. I’ll be back the 22nd. Got an assload of snow last night weeee! Can’t wait to dig the car out here in a few minutes. 2 more months and I will never have to kick around in the snow to figure out where I’m parked! I actually got some sleep last night. which is unusual for pretrain rides.. Tiptoed to bed around 1030 or so.. I woke up every few hours, because I’m paranoid like that. I had some wicked dreams, that I usually have when I’m lightly sleeping. BUT! it was sleep, so I will take it and run.
or at least this weekend… thanks to this…
humbug i say. I’m cancelling christmas this year. My hollyjolly ass just ain’t feeling the Christmas Joy. Laundry needs to finish.. so I can go back to the mall.
