of being sick. awesome.

mm flashcardarrific

i don’t really dig making flash cards.. but i do like using them.. so i just spent the last 2 hours making with the colours, months of the year, days of the week, the 4 seasons, and 0-50, and an assload of vocabulary words. now.. to just practice saying it all.. i’ve got all the spelling and accents taken care of.. now to speak it*L*

phone calls, class and interviews

SO. I’m stupid and forgot what day of the week it was.. even after last night, K asked me, are you setting your alarm for school tomorrow. No, it starts on Wednesday.-coughs- Well this morning just before 830am, the buddy for my job interview calls to confirm, waking me up. I come into the den, turn on my monitor, and here is Outlook saying class starts in 33 minutes. HOly shit! So rushjob shower and dressing got me to school by 9am. Thank god the place is just down the street eh? Class was good. I learned a few things, I became familiar and comfortable with some things I already know. I’ve made 3 new friends, and we’re all going to be doing Meetup.com’s French group here in the city so we can practice :) After class, I jetted down to the bookstore on Cyrville that sold my textbook for the class. I was pretty well impressed with myself. I did the whole sales transaction in French! -twirls- After which I got to drive home, and be completely irritated by the drivers at lunchtime. My only good moment was scaring the new driver half to death. I’m so cruel. I stopped at the Walkley Giant Tiger on the way home as well, to pick up a binder and some notebook paper. I was goign to get some other little school supplies, but that GT sucks badly. They didn’t have anything but the paper and the binder. So I decided to snag some more wrapping paper and a card for a present, and the stupid cashier, didn’t put my card, in the bag. There is a chance it could be in the back of the car, but I doubt it. So I still have to pop out to the GT near us, for some little things so that I am well prepared for taking notes and crap.

About the interview thing. It’s the one I was supposed to go to last Tuesday. I’m still unsure about the whole job. I’m waiting to hear back from the car rental agency. But buddy called yesterday and woke us up*L* Apparently some lady was supposed to call me before he ever did 2 weeks ago. So he told me what I’d be doing, and it’d be training and supervising. If it’s actually that.. and I stay at one store.. It should be ok. So I have to leave here in like an hour and a half to drive out a ways to meet him at the one store for interview and job information time. I really hate driving out to the store where we are meeting, the road it’s on sucks and the drivers out on that end are crazy.

layouts and on a mission

Due to recent events in my family, I’ve been doing a lot of research and thinking and the what not. I’ve created a special layout for next month, being that it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It will be in dedication to my mom, who is currently undergoing her second fight against breast cancer. There are several activites I am going to partake in hopefully in support of this cause, one being the annual BoobieThon. I participated last year, but I am unsure if it is happening this year or not. This is not an easy time, because I am not with my mom.. but she is a fighter and I am positive that she will come through this with flying colours.

Couple more entries

from this weekend are over on Picturing. I’m off to visit Flame now. Have a good one folks.

UCMBS Campground

We spent last night down at the Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary Campground with K’s dad and his gf. Of course all the dogs were there :) We had a nice chat, good eats, took all the beasts for a walk, then had a somewhat smokey campfire*L* I got to walk the shelties.. and let me tell you.. Shadow and Esprit are the cutest little things when they’re just zipping along on their itty bitty leashes side by side. I took a few more pictures of them :)

Charlotte is getting quite grey in the face these days. She’s a superstar dog though, she is now an Obedience Trial Champion

She’s a TimBit!

Friday afternoon brought total cuteness of Miss Sandi’s middle little starting her hockey league. There was much laughter and lots of awwws watching these 5 year olds chase tennis balls on the rink, practice getting up and down, and lots of falling*L*

OVPSC Schooling Show

The photographs from the Hunter/Jumper show I attended last weekend are now up. It was a challenge taking photos of the jumpers, due to the speed and unpredictable movement over fences. I enjoyed it and cannot wait to shoot another jumping show soon.
