So.. I’ve decided that I am quite dissapointed with some people, mainly some people that I’m related to.. I hate resumes, cover letters, and retail establishments that think they are good enough FOR resumes and cover letters. You are a pet store, you pay minimum wage, it’s ridiculous for you to only accept resumes. Give me an application, let me fill in the boxes and go on with my day.
The only GOOD part to today.. was that I found the manager’s special of 12pk Ramen noodle at Zellers again finally.. So I picked up 3, to restock the box. And I went to the dr, for all my bloodwork results that I had done 2 weeks ago. Everything is really good. I was worried about my cholesterol, but it’s in the “normal/good” range. Though, he told me I need to do more exercise. Rather, he said “you could stand to get rid of 15-20″. :\ So I need to exercise more. BLECH.

ha! easy.. sure.. for some reason, I decided to go have a peek at sh1ft.org, and discovered a 26 Things project is going on for the month of September. meh. I have most of the list shuffled together into a folder, and what I dont have I shall figure out a way to take something by the end.

Picturing Reality, has been up and in use since April of last year. I’ve decided to give her a new look for a few reasons.
1.) It’s been the same layout all this time. How that happened I have no idea given the amount of times that DIR changes.
2.) I’m feeling a bit more bold, and needed a look to match. I’m quite fond of the layout and how it turned out.
3.) The old layout didn’t load properly in both Firefox and IE. This does.. though do not gripe at me about standards*L* I’m not claiming that this meets all the W3cxyz45678 whatevers; just that it loads the way it’s intended to in both browsers.

this am.. took care of his feets. We stopped off at the market in town. It was mostly crafters and the sort.. but we did place an order with a local pottery maker, for a teapot and cup set. Hopefully if they turn out nice, we’ll probably look into doing the rest of the stuff we want with her as well. Picked up some beeswax candles, lord they smell good. Plus some apple cider..-smacks lips- God I love apple cider. there are some photos on Flame’s blog too.. K took them this morning, while I battled the bad attitude. Hoping to get a walk in here today.. Going everyday for the next 2 weeks to get ready for the RftC.

went to see Flame last night, and he’s pulled a shoe. M found it this afternoon in his paddock. The shoes can most likely be reset one more time and then it’s time for new ones. Because of all the rain we had in the past month from Frances and other inclement weather, the barn paddocks had been pretty mucky, so Flame’s feet are looking a bit skeezy but not overly much. Clean them out with an antiseptic wash, then spritz them down with gentle iodine. It’ll clear up fast. Kev went with this morning to help with Flame. I had him left in so that I could tend to him this morning and of course because EVERYONE ELSE was outside, and he wasn’t, the world was freaking ending. So he was Mr. Spazzass for 98% of the time we were there. There was a 5 minute moment where he stood still, but looked around paranoid like, while I talked with L about the water at the barn and the flooding that had happened from Frances.
After treating the feet, I threw him outside in his paddock. Everyone else was in for their noon time snack, I told M to just leave him out there because he was ready to implode. So he spent a good solid 5 minutes running around his paddock like a complete idiot screaming his head off because he was out alone. M asked if she should bring Tim out because he was done eating, and I said when you normally bring him out. Flame was just having a temper tantrum and he’d deal well enough with some time out by himself. He needs to figure out that he can be alone, but not be alone.
Kev took some photos of us while we were out. I took a few of Flame’s girlfriend Twist, the paddock, and the outdoor arena. We’re supposed to have some good weather this week, so I think it will be time to introduce Flame to another scary part of the barn -makes spooky ghost noises-. Continue reading ’skeezyfeet’

Banana, Rice, Applesauce, Toast & Tea. Hurrah for what I get to eat for the next week. I went to the clinic today. I was the 8th person to come in today alone for stomach issues. Apparently there is a nice stomach bug going around. So for lunch, I had some chicken ramen, mostly broth.. 3 tablespoons of applesauce and i’m working on my tea. If anything good comes of this, it will be losing 10 pounds-crosses toes-
