about the crappy job.. that sort of has been bothering me since last Monday. First time the guy calls, he says that he received my application and my resume blah blah blah, he’s read it over etc, and he thinks he wants to hire me.Fine. First meeting, no go due to nasty sickness. So he calls on Labor Day at like 830 in the damn morning(so much for sleeping in!), and asks me if I want to interview this week, blah blah blah.. So he is like can you meet me at such and such store. I say yes I could. He asks if I had a car, and I’m like yes, I’m pretty sure I can take the car tomorrow night. Then he goes, oh, you share the car with your parents? And I’m like WTF? So I go no, with my husband. To which he answers, OH, you sound really young. I thought you just graduated, how old are you? I answered 27, and he’s replies, gee you’re older than I am! So, not only did I get woke up early on the holiday, I got insulted. Which then brings me to the resume reading. If he did so much reading of my resume and application, which BOTH STATE, my year of graduation from high school (1995) and my following education in University(95-97), how in the WORLD could I be 18 years old. So, this thinking has just solidified the feelings I had about this company and their representatives. Crap Crap Crap and more Crap. OH and I found out that job I was called for this morning? Starts at $12 an hour-bashes head on desk again-

I had a staffing company call me today. It was for an administrative based CSR position, with a large fuel company here in Canada. Decent hours, good pay, room to advance. -bangs head on desk-I was essentially being handed the perfect opportunity, alas, the hours conflict with school. -le sigh-

Apparently I scored really well on their “testing” applets. I type 71 words per minute, I scored 98% in Windows OS usage, 96% in CSR abilities, and 90something or another in being “sales minded”. So I told the buddy my school schedule, and he is looking for something for me. Hopefully, I will get something from it. The car rental place never called me. The crappy job placed another ad on monster.ca for filling the position. I applied at Pier 1. I’m getting fussy enough to work at Wal-Mart.

I’ve been feeling the need to update something. After a project yesterday-lol- I’ve been harrassed by the redesign bug. I’ve already got 2 layouts for DIR made, and while I absolutely ADORE my Picturing Reality layout, I’m thinking that I may make a new one.. following the structure of CrazyCats layout. I am also thinking of somehow “condensing” my theme photos into some sort of archive thumbnail. I dunno. The images take up a lot of space. Maybe I will just download them all, run them quickly through photoshop to resize and optimize for the web. It will trim a bit of size off. Not that things are running slow, or that I’m running out of room. Its just that I’m using miaouphotograph mainly for my photoblog and really not for what it was intended. So maybe a fresh look is in store, and that will help move me along to getting the main section of miaouphoto on track. I’ve said this quite a few times in the past I know.. but meh. Time to move forward with affirmative action! *L* Or something like that. So I shall think on it.
