So this morning I decided to give E-Client yet another spin.. see if they could say sorry we can’t find your American butt in our database… and I just about crapped my pants. My heart stopped, I squealed a bit, flailed my hands around, and then drug K out of the bathroom sopping wet from his shower to show him.

Apparently the AIP allows me to apply for OHIP(health insurance) & work permit. I will most likely just wait on the work permit, because its $150 and by the time they finalize that.. they’ll most likely be finalizing my papers and it will be a waste. I have to call Monday and find out if I should pay my Right of Residence Fee now or wait. I’m pretty sure I can pay it now and it will just make things easier. One less thing to wait on.

Hope there is love for you.. and if not.. maybe some chocolate and a cheap bar date :)

SO, K’s dad got a new puppy. We went and watched her tonight while he was out at a training class. I’m so in love with her, she is the cutest and sweetest thing. Her name is Kali. Named after the Hindu goddess of destruction. The red splat on her side is nailpolish from the breeder ID marking her. Read on for some pictures :)

Now, the following list, is who I personally thing should win, or will win. I had a pretty good record with the Grammys..Let’s see how the movie stuff holds up.. There are a few catagories I cannot give an guess on merely because I haven’t seen or heard enough about them.. Take for example best live action short, usually some of the best bits of the whole show. Also the documentary and foreign films, I’ve not seen or heard much of them..

Ok the Grammys are over, bring on the next awards show.. the mofo of them all, the Oscars.

The Grammys were quite boring this year, I found there were more performances shown than winners, but I guess that is what really keeps people interested.

The only things that bothered me were that twit 50 cent moochin in on Evanescence.. sorry homie your shit ain’t that great, it was only Eminem that floated your boat, get off the stage. Secondly and more importantly.. the “Who we’ve lost” tribute. What a crock of friggin shit. That was the most poorly put together 5 minutes of the entire show. This was a bad year for losing some of the music industries greatest artists, and all they used was a Geocities website lookalike slideshow? And yes, I know Warren Zevon was a great man.. but Johnny Cash was equally as great or better, and all they showed for him was a 2 second blip on the screen with June? WTF. Boo on you idiots that put that together.

beginning to tire of yuna….i think i will have to start making some layout magic…

i will say this though.. being able to talk with a close friend for many many hours, really makes my day…tonight was good..lots of laughs.

I have added another album to the project and series. It is from the recent vacation to Mount Tremblant, Quebec. Hope you enjoy. I’m also contemplating the last few projects of photography memes. I haven’t had much enthusiasm for doing them lately, so maybe I will just catch up this week and not be bothered with trying to get the others.

going here for the weekend with K and P. Should be fun.. They’re mostly going to be discussing workstuffs etc, so I’m going to rustle up some images for the past few weeks of photography memes. I’ve been rather meh, on the whole thing lately so hopefully I can get back into the swing of things.

Of course I’ve overpacked, that’s a given.. but I’ll be warm and have dry clothes if i need them :) I did however while packing and getting my outside clothing together notice that something was missing, and Miss Sandi now has my scarf in the back of her wee car. At least I know where it is, as I was just telling K a week or so ago that it was the ONLY scarf that I have never lost*L* I’m just waiting on K to get back from the car place getting the snow tires on the P5 finally, and for the batteries to finish charging for my walkman, I have a bunch of cds to listen to.. a few books and my notebook to write in. So ciao for now, see you all in a few days :)
