Today Miss Sandi and I went shopping at ValueVillage. I found a skirt I liked, but it was nothing special or that I couldn’t find anywhere else. BUT at the end, I was like.. I need to have a look at the jackets..and I looked, and I searched.. and I found a LOVELY navy blue wool peacoat that fits perfectly. It needs a good cleaning, and maybe some new buttons or the current ones stitched on tighter.. but other than that.. it’s just perfect. AND it was only $9.99

I also found this framed print. A few weeks ago, I found this picture online, that struck a nerve with me. I have a picture at home, very very similiar to that. It has been my most favourite cherished childhood thing for as long as I can remember. Well today shopping, we strolled through the household type of stuff, and there was this framed picture of a little dog… by the same artist. The frame is ugly as sin and coming off very soon, but I was extremely happy about that little print. So now that I can see the artist name more clearly.. Hopefully I might be able to search for more of them..

I realize I haven’t been posting much in the way of weekly memes, nor have I kept up at all with the Leap Day project. I just haven’t been feeling very motivated with the camera of late. I took some photographs of the remains of the Winterlude ice & snow sculptures, working on those..They will eventually be in the Gallery. I still have the nighttime snow images to put up in there as well.. eef. Thinking if I should participate in the next sh1ft.org project for Leap Day or not. I guess I will decide that day, see what the weather is like and force myself to go out so that my Leap Day doesn’t totally reflect the mundane days I have everday*L*Hopefully with the promise of new things and the upcoming season, I will be more inspired to participate in activities as well as exploring new places with my camera.

for when my recycle bin is right outside my garage door.. because man, dragging everything downstairs is such a pain -eyes giant pile of cardboard-…

I also cannot get those damn tables to work.. I have two more things to try.. and then I give up and try a different look which will make me sad.

I also went last night to the Winterlude.. so sad.. most of the ice sculptures were melted.. about 6 or seven of them had collapsed or pieces fallen off from the warm days. I got a few good photos, the snow sculptures with the exception of Logan from X-Men had escaped unscathed..

Poor bevie is under a whole lot of snow. We have nasty weather coming our way from Texas.. Yet again proof nothing good ever comes out of Texas..

It’s 70F/22C at Carrie’s house. I could honestly hate her for that. The hussy.

ok done.. can’t do anymore with those stupid tables.. whatever I did with THIS current layout, isn’t working with the one I’m working on. Damn table won’t expand with the bulk of the blog text. -clubs it-.. time to read some things.. and go to bed.
