well this is a bit of heart lightening news. Today I received my official Visitor’s Record for Canada. When I applied for this, I was informed it would take over 3 months to get it. It took just over 1 month. So, I’m feeling slightly optimistic about the whole situation combined with the large jumps in “received by” dates on the application processing chart. Of course, now that this has gone quickly and smoothly.. according to Marc, something with my main application is going to crash and burn.

I am starting to get a bit concerned about police certificates and medical exams expiring by the time they get their asses in gear and sort it all out. If I have to fucking do that shit all over again I’m going to freak*L* I’m not looking forward to the possibility of shelling out at least another $150+ for medicals, processing fees, and fingerprinting fees.
