yah for new layouts
ok,.. i had a bit of panic earlier with targeting issues and pmachine code.. but i got it all fixed up. everything works.. it may not be completely pretty..but i’m kinda coming to the point where, all the supporting pages really aren’t that important to me.. so i guess if you really want that stuff.. be happy it’s there right? right.
The graphics are of Yuna.. from Final Fantasy fame. More specifically from FFX-2. I got FFX-2 for Christmas.. although, I haven’t started playing it yet because I have yet to finish FFX.. I need to spend some serious time with the PS2 and finish it.. I’m extremely close.. just gotta get back into the swing of it. It’s only been a week.. I played for about an hour last night, while relaxin the back.. which is still bitchin up a storm.
It snowed today.. I’m hopin that it will stick around for a few days, so I can get back downtown and redo this picture.

I didn’t take my time with it when we went the first time.. There were people, I was over emotional about the holidays…. I just wasn’t having a good moment with it. So I hope to redo it, and get it looking nice.. no blown whites and all that stuff. I also want to redo the Fountain photographs I did.. so that I can a really nice “combination” photograph.
Photo Friday this week.. is the “Best of 2003″. This is goign to be diffulcult.. I honestly haven’t had too many photographs that have REALLY stood out to me this year.. with the exception of “Serenity” as it has been named for various projects. So it should be interesting to go back through and see what I can find.
On a different note.. a musical one at that.. I’ve been listening to the lovely cds that I have gotten over the past 3 weeks.. and wow.. it’s SO good to have new tunes.. CDs that I have recieved have been Ryan Malcolm’s Home, who is btw Canada’s Idol, Blue Rodeo’s Greatest Hits, which Ryan could be the lost band member of.. Lucinda Williams World Without Tears.. I could swear i have her previous cd somewhere.. but not ripped.. all i have of hers on my drive is “Car Wheels on a Gravel Road” and “Lucinda Williams”. Stacey Earle’s Simple Gearle and in’ With Them That Brung Me are two happy editions to my CD collection. I absolutely adore Stacey’s material. Some of the tracks of these 2 albums are featured on her live album recording Must Be Live, and hearing the original recording versus the live recording that I’m very much used to can sometimes be a start. I also picked up O Sister!: A Woman’s Bluegrass Collection. I’ve wanted this CD as well as its “sequel” O Sister!2 since the ‘O whatever’ craze started after the movie O Brother Where Art Thou.
A couple of other CDs I hope to pick up in the next couple of months and even year are any and all CDs of Jill Jack, Catie Curtis’ Acoustic Valentine & From Years to Hours. I used to have Jill Jack’s Watch Over Me.. but it went MIA after I think someone borrowed it..
Future tasks for me I think right now, are finishing up some photograph series, to put in Picturing’s Gallery. I have the series of night time photos that Serenity came from, as well as a night series from downtown. I also need to buckle down on my portfolio images. Need to really get moving on that.. I keep saying it, but nothing quite happens. Soon soon though. I guess I feel lack of motivation with it, purely because I cannot techincally offer things for sale through the site yet.. because techincally it’s “work”.. and setting up my own bank account to run my paypal shopping cart for it… might flag the governement etc.. as “work” and not purely selling things. Gah.. oh well.. when immigration is done right? Right.. Getting mighty tired of that phrase…
