We went for a stroll today after liberating Mr. Jack Bee who was a fly.. Walked along the Saw Mill Creek Path… then back up the main road.. we passed the cemetary.. on the one corner.. and in recent events, and comments on how full cemetaries seem to be.. especially this crazy Jewish cemetary we saw in Toronto.. it looked like there was less than 3 inches between each grave marker on all sides in some places… this cemetary.. is freakishly empty. maybe less than 100 graves total? the newest that we could see along the fence was 20 years old or more.. and it’s a fairly good sized bit of land.. anyways.. the photos…

Well.. with some research..

We have found that Mr. Jack Bee, was an imposter!

He wasn’t a bee after all!

He’s was a beefly! I found this photo on google of beefly close to him..

bee fly, name for the small- to medium-sized flies of the family Bombyliidae, many of which resemble bees in appearance and behavior. This mimicry provides bee flies with some measure of protection against predators that have learned to avoid the sting of true bees. A bee fly has a stout, hairy body and long proboscis. In many species the body and wings are strikingly marked in yellow and brown.

in any case.. here is a picture of Jack when he was liberated.

I’m currently redoing the layout of my portfolio, and i’m playing with ideas for the gallery linking. I got this.. but then felt it was too crowded.. but i think with a bit tweaking it might work.. So a little taste of what was to come with the new look on miaouphoto.

i swear to everything that i hold sacred.. i nearly died of a heart attack earlier…

we had this trunk of broccoli in the fridge now for like over a week…i’ve taken it out 743895023475804395734 times to make steamed broccoli…so, we had just got in from driving around for an hour, i drag out broccoli to chop up for dinner…AND THERE’S A FREAKING BEE HANGING OFF THE ONE LOWER STEM!!!!!!!!!!

AND HE MOVED!

-SQUEALS AND DOES THE FLAILING FREAK OUT DANCE-

so k chopped the stem off.. and put him in a ziplock bag with the stem…and now he’s all warmed up and moving around and bzzzing in the ziplock bag! -SQUEALS AND DANCES MORE-

he’s sitting on the desk now…he’s my lil pet… even though he gives me the heebie jeebies
