SO.. bedtime at 10am, awake time at 4pm.. i cna officially say my sleep schedule is fubarred.. completely and totally.. rockon..

I tried calling CIC again, they close at 4.. I should have not gone to reheat some coffee. In any case.. like i said in my earlier post today.. My application is not going to be even viewed till mid December at the earliest. Let me tell you a little story.

Back when I sent my application out, we were told “we(CIC) strongly recommend that you do not leave Canada until your application is finished. Leaving the country COULD invalidate your temporary resident status and therefore your application as a temporary resident”. So i made a huge trip back to the folks at the end of may/beginning of june. I’ve been back into Canada since June 6. We were told 3-8 months of process time. My application has been there 2 months, won’t be touched for processing for another 2 months.. That’s 4 right there..

I took this photo at the Montreal Botanical Gardens last summer. I saw this poor bride come in with her attendants, photographer, parents, the groom’s attendants.. and no groom. She spent almost the entire time I saw her, on the phone talking very animatedly and very angrily.. From what I gather the groom was late*L* Having just been married earlier in the Spring.. I could understand the panic, fustration, anger.. of something with the wedding plans not going as smooth as one would hope. It made me think about my wedding day*L* While there were certainly some panic times leading up to it, the day itself went smoothly….and that.. was all good :)

SO.. i just spent the past hour wrestling with the redial button and the please hold we’re not hanging up on you-clickwejusthunguponyou- CIC hotline.. I finally got through twice to have my questions answered.. All i know so far is

1. I hold onto my RCMP fingerprints until they ask for them
2. No, They don’t confirm processing anymore.. you’ll know when they contact ya
3. yes your medical exam has been matched up with your packet
4. yah i have a client id #

NOW.. here’s the god be damned kicker. I called back to do the “estimate” of processing time.. because i couldnt’ get their precious online thing to work.. and the reason for that is.. i’m not in the system yet.. go figure eh? here’s the reasoning for that

As of September 22, 2003… they are only processing applications recieved by April 17, 2003. They are that backlogged. 5 months behind.. rockthefuckon. you know what that means? MY application won’t even begin to be processed/investigated until towards the middle of December. At the least. So.. I am going to estimate that I am not going to see my mother for her birthday next year.. Who knows.. fuck.. I may not even get my awesome Canada Day party.. because 3-8 months runs straight to August. I am NOT a happy kitty..

Please tie in that I’m extremely tired, my ears hurt, my head hurts, i’ve not had a second of sleep since 1030am yesterday morning.. that’s almost 24 hours now.. i WAS doign well with a sleepy time schedule.. not doing so much anymore.. ugh.

apparenlty.. CIC offers the ability to check your immigration status online.. if you have one of the following 3 items.

1. Client ID number - haven’t heard back on what this is
2. Application File number - same as the Client ID
3. IMM5401 Reciept - we have this.. somewhere.. where.. i do not know.. i’ve looked all over.

My den is really nice and straigthened up though.. specially k’s side.. actually washed the desk down.*L* But alas.. no reciept..

I have called CIC already this morning.. I figure.. I’m awake, why the hell not right? Blah blah blah we’re doing our weekly training blah blah blah call us in an hour.. their butts better be in their chairs in 15 minutes answer that phone*L* I need me some answers! and hopefully a client id,file # or my IMM5401.

I finished Connect 8 today.. Check Picturing out on the 1st of October for my submission. I rather like how it looks.. and it’s kinda inspiring me for a miaouphoto makeover.. Though of course it’s probably the worse thing i could do for miaouphoto.. but hey.. why not.. I like change.. it’s had that look for well over a year.. :) Which btw.. Saturday night is miaouphoto’s birthday.. she’ll be one year old..

Which in thinking about that, made me remember.. that my gallbladder surgery was just over a year ago.. the 20th.. Went back and read the posts from the following after days*L* Jesus christ I’m a spaz*L* Also.. There is the matter of this photo. This photo was taken sometime after getting my miracle cocktail of percs, muscle relaxants and sleeping pills to sort out the fluid in the lung situation after the surgery. Not only was this photo taken, downloaded to the computer, resized and saved as “druggedkitty”.. but neither k or i remember taking this photo. *L*
