Granola for supper
not my idea of a fun time.. THANKS BLACKOUT OF 2003! So, yesterday around 4pm, we had a dip in power, k & i cussed and cursed a bit, things went back to normal.. then a short ten minutes later, PZZZZZZHHHHHOOOOOOOOOU! no powah.. -insert UPS back up battery alarms going crazy here- So after shutting down things, we kind of puttered around, wondering what to do.. phone rings, it’s my mother in the Detroit area.. telling us what has happened.. well what they knew had happened at least at 430pm. So hanging up, k took a nap, i read my book.. when the daylight reached that point where reading by it is uncomfortable, i got dressed and decided to go for a walk-lol- i have NEVER seen that many people wandering around in my building, and outside my building.. was crazy.
