Today was spent at Marc’s for a bit of lunch…Poor Soph.. she was a bit weirded out by the camera.. but I managed to get some cute ones of her, before she’d run to parts unknown…

to extend till monday at midnight. So we shall see.. the “track your package” option on canada post sucks majorly.. they don’t update it at all.. the last time it was processed was 8pm friday here in ottawa.. i would like some delivery confirmation purrrease…
spent most of the weekend feeling crummy.. my cold is lingering in the form of a snotty cough.. k and i went shopping yesterday.. picked up some movies.. the animatrix, cowboy bebop the movie, and the second season of the transformers.. spent time lounging.. finally won a bronze medal in the Elysium Alps on SSX Tricky..
the immigration papers were sent out Friday morning.. but now unless an agreement is made.. the Canada Post people are going on strike at 12:01am tomorrow morning.. which means my package most likely is NOT going to make it to Vegreville before it happens.. which means they could be stuck God knows where for at least 2 weeks, until they are ordered back to work. which then could take whoever knows how many weeks to catch up…so that’s a bit irritating..
today.. went downtown to finish up my photos for the 26 things project.. but got rained out and not as many or the kind of photos i wanted.. hopefully tuesday when i am downtown again i will have better luck with it.. only 5 more photos to go.
So I scampered downtown today, to hopefully complete the remainng images I need for the 26 things project.. The clouds had been threatening all day rain, but then started to clear up.. so I took my chance and hoofed it to the bus stop. Promptly 2 stops away from where I was to depart.. The skies opened up and it started pouring. So I hung out under the canopy at the Bridge and took some “transportation” photos… I did happen to get a few others as well, before I had got on the bus.. only 5 more to go.. hopefully Tuesday’s downtown adventure will have more luck.
