This or That Tuesday
Tuesday This or That ~ Media Edition
1. TV or radio? Radio.. Tv means sitting and watching TV.. Radio. you can move around..
2. On the radio: talk or music station? Music station..93dot9 Kool FM
3. Actual books or books-on-tape (or e-books)? Real books. Can’t get enough of them. I’m currently at an end of my books.. I’ve read the entire collection of books by Mercedes Lackey, that deal with her fantasy world Velgarth.. so I’m stuck. There are a few historical fictions dealing with Queen Mary and Anne Boleyn that I’d like to pick up.
4. Actual newspaper, or web version? Web version.. less to recycle
5. Wall Street Journal or National Enquirer? National Enquirer..
6. TV news…news channel such as CNN, or your local broadcast news? Local news.. CNN is biased crap.
7. A movie you’ve been looking forward to seeing gets bad reviews all around. See it anyway, or pass? See it anyways.. though.. I’ll probably wait till video like most other movies.. because ticket prices for the cinema are entirely too expensive.
8. See movies when they first come out, or wait a few weeks for the lines at the theater to get shorter? Wait a few weeks.. Nothing I hate more than $13.50 a ticket for the nice cinema, to have people talk through the whole movie, getting up a lot.. Less people the less that stuff happens.
9. TV: cable, satellite dish, or just plain old antenna? Cable. My folks don’t have cable, just regular old TV. While I don’t watch a lot of TV usually, when I’m home.. TV fills some gaps between activities.. and ieee.. there is NOTHING interesting on normal TV, except talk shows -gags-
10. Thought-provoking question of the week: If you had to choose only one form of media to come into your home, which would you choose…print (newspapers, magazines) or electronic (TV, internet)? Why? Electronic media. For one price, I have pretty much all the news and information at my fingertips or at the click of a button. Not to mention I don’t have to deal with recycling, or wasting paper etc.
