called a Lomo Kompact. There are a few people that I have seen on sites using it etc.. The way they talked about it, made it seem like it was some kind of rare hard to find deal.. which it isn’t. I’ve been looking around at different places for prices..

• Amazon.com has it for $170
• Ebay is listing them from $.01 and up
• Lomography.com has them base listed for $180

They seem kind of fun.. and they’re not that expensive.. I think my mom’s 35mm cost more than the Lomo’s do.. but of course for me there is the added cost of film, developing etc etc.. not to mention the “style” in which you’re supposed to shoot using this camera is kind of hit or miss.. “shoot from the hip”.. and hope to god you got something interesting. I dunno.. I am hoping to save up for a smaller handheld digital…. like the Canon S230 Elph .. Something that will be decent, but also small enough to carry about in my purse. I know i’d take a lot more pictures that way, and be less hestitant to carry it around with me.. because it is so tiny.. versus the D30.. which well.. after about 10 minutes you wish the damn thing had wheels so you could drag it along behind you*L*

I have 3 bulky sharpies, 3 fine point sharpies, 2 highlighters about 6 unsharpened pencils, one glitter pen, and 2 archival fine point pens that were too $$$$ to use to scribble in notebooks with.

Once upon a time.. K & I bought a bag of BIC pens.. they’re all gone.. i have like 1 floating around.. who knows where the rest went.. it’s the most bizzare thing. Some people lose socks.. I lose pens!

1. Yummier: Chocolate ice cream or strawberry cheesecake? The cheesecake hands down… haagendaaz makes a strawberry cheesecake icecream.. so rah! i can have the best of both worlds.
2. Better to watch on TV: Movies or sports? movies.. but there are some sports i enjoy watching on tv.. equine, canine, some hockey.. stuff like that
3. A better web browser: MSIE or Netscape (or tell us your own favorite!)IE
4. A better way to travel: Automobile or bus/train? I’d rather drive because I am in control if i want to take a side trip or if i want to stop all the time etc.. but i am a train person due to money/time/lack of vehicle.

how i hate it.. -lol- i just spent 10 minutes resorting my hotmail filters to hopefully spin around their useless piece of shit “spam’ blocking filters…

in other cases though.. this week’s theme thursday is looking to be kind of interesting.. i have several ideas running through my head.. the theme will be “steps”… i’m thinking of going around the obvious of crawling around in the stairwell taking pictures…. and doing something different concerning “steps”.. but i may crawl around in the stairwell anyways.

i didn’t get as much done of my cleaning as i wanted to today.. but i did get a few things done.. like i dusted the den/sorted out the desk.. cleaned the dirtyass atrium windows.. holy cripe.. the papertowels were black -blech-.. but they are all clean now.. and i shall work on more tomorrow.. i just felt like bah on house cleaning-lol- i did so much the past 3 days that i just couldn’t be bothered today. so i’ll prolly do the green bathroom’s tub and the floors, and some of the bedroom…..

on miaou!photo. I got the Tulip Festival section up, as well as the Tulip Fest 2002 pictures. I’ve also switched the TOBASOL gallery into the Musician & Concert gallery. Several of the galleries will be having additional galleries put into them. So it’s time to start checking them all*L* Who knows when I’ll be sticking new images in. I’ve got nearly my original stash of photos chosen, done and put up. Spring is rushing headlong towards me and my camera, and I am certain I shall have all of the old photos done in time for the new ones to grace the scene in a timely fashion :)

Current ideas running through my head for the site are intense. I hope to do several “self portrait” sessions soon. One focusing on “glamour”.. the image I did for the photo friday challenge Skin is what inspired it. I hope to do several more images focusing on makeup. Another being body parts.. which is going to be challenging just in the fact of getting bits and pieces.. and making them less than ordinary.

I figured out where they were hiding that damn pCode crap. It would automatically change HTML coding into the pCode.. which is very similiar to what they use on Yaab type messege boards. Only half the time, it’d end up being a half and half bit of HTML and pCode and break things. So yah.. it’s all turned off now.

Saturday Scruples

• An elderly friend is lonely. He talks in an endless monologue. Do you continue the friendship out of sympathy? Absolutely. If his way of talking bothered you that much, maybe find things to do.. where sitting around with him talking isn’t a main priority. In getting out and doing social activities as well, he’s bound to meet more friends and not be as lonely.

• On a cold spring day, you drive through a puddle and soak a pedestrian. Do you stop to make mends? Absolutely.. I’d be pissier than a teased chihuahua if the rude ass didn’t stop if that happened to me. I’d stop to see if they were ok.. they may have gotten water in their eyes, and who knows what’s in the water.. Also.. see if i could give them a lift somewhere.

• You think your “ex” is lower than a snake. Do you show your kids how you feel about their parent? I think the children would know that Mommy doesn’t really like Daddy as a friend because he hurt her feelings. When they were old enough, they can know the reasonings and have the explination of what happened in the relationship. Regardless of how I might feel about him, if he’s a not an abusing psycho moron, then my children will have full access to the other parent. Now.. granted.. If my “ex” is lower than a snake.. He’s probably not coming around to see the kids etc.. so they’re not that stupid to where they can’t make their own decisions about why Daddy never comes to see them.
