Shelly’s Spotlight
I have a new gallery up on miaouphoto. In keeping with the ‘more critical’ approach.. This gallery started out with about 20 images.. It now has 8. I have one last gallery to do.. before I am done with the “previous years’” work. Then I guess, it’s a bit of house cleaning.. some resorting, renaming of files to make things work.. I thought about doing it right now.. but meh.. I think, I’m in too much of a dangerous mood to go in and start deleting things.
**edit: i take that back.. 2 galleries left to do**
ugh.. how i hate it..it happens EVERY time I get a project going and running for so long.. Luckily for DIR, having a facelift every month or so.. gets that twitch out.. Unfortunately.. miaouphoto has never quite been that lucky. Usually when I get fits about it, something gets trashed terribley. Though on the brighter side I do love my layout. What I am dissastified with.. are the images I have chosen for the gallery. Some have too many.. Some I could have chosen diffferent images.. Which ever the case is, I’m finding myself seriously wanting to curtail down the images on miaouphoto.. it’s not a space issue.. goddess knows i have enough space to play with..the only reason why i went for the bigger package was to be able to offer prints if people wanted them.. wihtout my service provider twisting their panties about it being a personal site…
it’s purely.. am i completing whatever artistic vision i had for it when i first started? not really. it was to showcase and amplify the best of the best.. and while it does do that.. it also has a lot of not so best in there.. or just excessive.. i have fototime space for the rest of it.. and i’ve not done much of anything wiht that past my lion safari and renaissance images.. -sighs-i know once spring really does hit, i’ll be getting out more and taking more photos etc.. which will be good for the fototime space.. because i can just upload everything there.. and people can see all that i’ve done etc.. i suppose there will be soem changes happening there.. subtle ones.. and hopefully narrowing things down.. and really being critical of what is going up there.. will make me feel that it is all back on track..

not much of anything. I got tomorrow’s Theme done.. that’s about it. That post will go up around midnight.. Did a bit more digging around on the Lomo’s. Honestly.. I don’t trust the Ebay stuff*L* I’d rather know my thing WAS brand new etc.. and Amazon only ships them to the US.. oh well. Those deterrants will give me an excuse to save for the Elph..

I’d probably explore the place a bit, it’s not like i wouldn’t have a lack of means to get around.. then pick my favourite spot and live out my lonely existance.
2. What if you awoke one morning to find that, overnight, you’d transformed into a member of the opposite gender (if you’re a guy, you woke up as a girl, and vice versa)? Enjoy the wonders of being able to pee while standing up.
3. What if you awoke one morning to find that you were living in the year 3003? I better have the “Get me to this or that place NOW” button, and some sort of flying vehicle.
4. What if you awoke one morning to the realization that you had somehow lost all four of your limbs? I would lay there and wallow in self pity and misery i suppose..
5. What if you awoke one morning to discover that everyone in the world looked exactly the same… including you? Start making ID tags*L*
it’s kind of funny.. that while searching google..i noticed by their little graphic that today was Earth Day.. which reminded me that today is Kristin Loynes birthday.. and that Charlene Davis’ birthday is in 2 days. It’s weird how the mind works, and stores little tidbits away to remember things by.. I haven’t spoken to Kristin since graduation.. and Charlene probably in 3-4 years.. Charlene was my best bud growing up too.. I keep saying there is this list of people I need to call/visit/write.. I think I should start writing it down.. so that I have a constant visual reminder..
Scott’s birthday is coming up too.. as well as Jello’s.. -wonders if those birthday kids have lists this year-
