1. How many houses/apartments have you lived in throughout your life? 2 houses, 1 apartment.
2. Which was your favorite and why? My favourite was the house my parents live in right now. It’s where I did the bulk of my growing up, it’s where all the memories are.
3. Do you find moving house more exciting or stressful? Why? My parents moved house when I was 7. I remember being upset at my parents for making me leave my friends, but then I was MORE upset with them.. because they sent me off to my aunt and uncles for like 3 days while they unpacked.. I was excluded from the move pretty much*L*. My move to the apartment to live with K, was.. stressful*L* Only because of how I moved.. one or two suitcases at a time*L* Then with a trunkful when I drove the one last time before the last train trip. I was always so worried about customs. I’m sure when K and I finally get our own place, it will be a combination of both. Stress about moving everything, but excitement for having our first home.
4. What’s more important, location or price? Both are equally important to me and K. We could find a very reasonably priced house away from Ottawa with no problem, but staying in the city area is more convienent to us, so that makes it harder to find something we can afford.
5. What features does your dream house have (pool, spa bath, big yard, etc.)? Yard and a master bath. If the master bath has a garden tub, well.. that’s extra points.. but I HAVE to have that master bath.
