while at the parents. I made good on what I said I was going to do. The weather down at my folks was absolutely amazing this weekend, though of course in this time of year, absolutely amazing weather means, absolutely amazing mud, puddles, and other assorted ook.

I gave Flame a bath Monday. He needed it bad, though of course the bath came after his photos were taken.. I did some free lunging photos as well as free jumping. There should be a few that I can work with, even if he’s a dirty moo in all of them. He also had 2.5 hours of riding that day.. poor bastard could barely stand up he was so tired. For that matter, I could barely stand up because I was so tired. I stopped off at Jello’s to get her Howie CD to her.. and she was home! So I got to see her and the hubby if only for a few minutes.. better than no minutes.. and then Scott showed up.. and we went to see his new house, which is completely too cute, with a HUGE backyard.. and they have DUCKS! in the pond next door.. and then Michelle came home! So we hung out and chatted in their living room for a few, and then I scooted on home, had myself a bath.. Hung out with mom, and then hit the sack.

The rest of the trip was fairly uneventful, had the Tori concert on Weds which was amazing.. NOne of the photos came out of course, because I grabbed the shitty Kodak cameras that say MAX on them, but only have 400 speed film in them. -grinds teeth-.. but that’s ok, because we had amazing seats.. and she played an amazing show. The drive back was terrible, we had a pretty nasty snow storm while we were there.. Took us nearly 4 hours to drive the supposed 2 hours home. Hopefully someone got a recording system in there and I’ll be able to get a copy of the show. Which reminds me, I still have 2 shows on SHN I have to finish converting. ugh.

Most of the rest of my time was spent either at the barn or at Lorie’s with her and Nikki. We had lots of good laughs then.. Watched I Spy and Coyote Ugly as well while there.. Both excellent flicks. Saturday was spent shopping with Steph.. we were astoundingly quite controlled during it.. we only had a few moments of spastic laughter. Her and her hubby are trying for a baby soon -crosses toes-… I wish them all the luck and fun involved in with that:)

I am happy to be home though. Slowly putting my computer back to normal.. K reformatted it while I was away, and I’m trying to figure out what is missing or what needs to be put back in order to suit me. I got all the photos off the cards last night.. well I hope I did.. I need to recheck them today. I dislike how the Canon puts the images into 2 “folders” on the memory card. Drives me nuts. But I got a really good session in with Nikki, and she got some rather nice new ones of me as well!*L* So I’ll have those up on the photos page in a while.

Well ok, I’m off to do a bit of photo card searching, and some computer wrestling.. Talk at ya later peeps.

feeling pretty tired and worn out.. been sorting my computer back to normal.. it will be a couple of days to make sure everything is there or not.. but hopefully it will all be zoomie and working nice and proper.

well this time tomorrow i’ll be snuggled up proper in my own bed with my K. it’s been a long week that wasn’t long enough, but i’m glad to be heading home in the morning. it will be good to blog again and not have each page load at a turtle’s pace, i seriously do not know how my dad stands this thing…

the folks again on Monday..

I have a new suitcase.. the plane people were not so kind with my poor luggage while K was out of town… so I have a new Samsonite. I suppose sometime today I should start gathering up what I need to pack.. I have a bunch of paperwork, cds and the sort that I cannot forget..I’m usally well packed 2 days before I go.. but with K being gone, I couldn’t really.

This trip has some events planned.. I have the Tori show, seeing Lisa and Autumn, visiting with Steph on the Saturday.. MUST bring camera this time.. so I can get pictures of us together.. we don’t have any since University.. must also remember to bring the photoalbum of GOOD wedding photos*L* I need to get Karen, Bryan, Scott, Michelle, Todd in there somewhere.. of course I’ll see Nikki. Possibly Sarah too. I’d like to visit my Aunt and Uncle.. I’ll make a point of doing that Sunday. There is a Catie Curtis concert on the 17th, that I’m excited to be going to.. I really love seeing Catie, I hope to get her newest album while I’m there.. cross my toes and hope to have it signed afterwards as well. Of course lots of horse time, and making sure Nessa is doing well.. She’s not been taking lessons, which is part of the agreement.. so I need to see what is up with that.. I really like this girl, and want to see it work out.. but I cannot take the risk of her not learning with a trainer. She needs to take lessons for her own safety.. as well as my peace of mind.-sighs-

I’ve put up the first of several “people” galleries. There should be about 4 in total.. at least of the images I have. The session I did of Jello, will be next.. I’m currently editing those. The gallery that was just put up, was easiest.. because I had already done those before.. Just needed to be resized and bordered*L*
