hrm

for a while i’ve been thumbing about the idea of getting rid of somethings on my site.. and i’m very close to saying yep.. that’s the end of that..

Political Cartoons

These ones mainly serve with the Columbia tragedy.. there are quite a few sad ones in there.. and some that make you think….

so, upon the discovery

that 12oaks mall has a hot topic now.. i have been mucking around in my hot topic wishlist.. i wish i had a zillion dollars to shop in it right now*L* but i found these.. and omg i want them*L*

finally.. i am warm:)

I swear I was in snuggy pillow/toasty blanket heaven last night*L* My body temp is back to normal! yah! -dances- I slept really well too.. which was a first for the past week and a half*L*

My mum got home safe and sound from driving me to Windsor yesterday.. I was really worried.. she’s not the greatest of drivers, not to mention she had to go back through customs and then drive all the way back home through some of Detroit’s worst highway interchanges.

I guess now… I figure out where I get back into my routine again.. I know i have scads of clothes to put away, and quite a few to wash*L* I have all kinds of pictures of Jello and her hubby I want to play with, but they will have to wait a bit till I get to the portraits section of my portfolio.. which should be soon.. well as soon as I remember where I left off*L*

ice prancing really wasn’t that bad

it ended up being a LOT better than I thought it would be.. the stupid speech crap Todd Eldridge did in the middle was still stupid.. he could have cut that out and just left it with the prancing…i was really excited to see Jamie and David skate.. both of their routines were amazing….. but over all it was nice.. we stopped at my neighbour’s house before going out.. visited with them for a while, had a cup of coffee.. gave her grandson his christmas present, she gave me my christmas present*L* we jaunted off to the palace…i had nachos for dinner.. i’ve had way too many nachos for dinner! i can’t believe i just admitted that.. but it’s true…

last night i went and visited my friend stephanie.. i hadn’t seen her since before i moved to ottawa… probably like late january of 2001 sometime was the last i had seen her.. we still talked and everything.. but i drove out to her “new” house that she’s had for nearly 2 years*L* and spent the evening being complete idiots.

-yawns-

The past few days have been quite busy.. yesterday… was at the barn during the am/early afternoon.. then went with my dad to a show in Ann Arbor at The Ark.. was called Rainbow Highway~Endless Skyway…. Music in the Spirit of Woody Guthrie.. Slaid Cleaves, Jimmy LaFave, Eliza Gilkyson, Ellis Paul, and Joel Rafael were the singers performing.. was a pretty damn amazing show.. I found a deeper appreciation for a lot of old songs last night.. including the good old “This Land is Your Land”… I nearly cried.. I didn’t though.. didn’t feel like explaining THAT to my dad.. but sitting nearly in the front row.. Slaid saw.. I think it was harder explainging to him.. even because I still don’t know why I was nearly crying*L*
