the Ever so craptacular Maybelline Eyeshadow
at 830am? Yes that’s right folks.. My stupid stupid package. So K hands me the box, I pad to my chair.. sit down and inspect it over. First off the box was of the wrong size.. it was bulging quite nicely.. secured shut with lots of tape.. I opened it up, took out 3 cds and a book. I nearly choked when i saw the book was wrapped in a plastic goodwill shopping bag. So I place it all aside and inspect the rest of the contents.. which was a receipt and a credit card slip.. and a paper catalogue of their products.. but.. that’s just the beginning.
So I pick up the box again.. and start inspecting it.. Keep in mind folks.. that this package was ORIGINALLY dropped off at the post office between Christmas and New Years, and that the customs tag was wrong. So when Ms. Lee found out that this was the case after emailing her several times demanding knowledge of my shipment, the package was shipped on the 9th. (more…)
one of the other things i want to do soonish.. is revamp my makeup collection.. most of the stuff i have is crap.. ugh.. maybelline eyeshadow.. could you be any more disgusting and annoying? i cannot believe how terrible this stuff gets after about a month of use.. SO.. i’ve been doing some reading and investigating.. and i want to throw most out and get all new stuff.. with my normal natural shades of brown/cream.. but also get some nice colour pallettes in there as well.. so i can spice up my eyes or lips when i feel spunky.. i think the only colour stuff i have is frosty blue.. bleh.. so soon..i will be doing that:)
are in the air… I’ve finally just said fark it.. and I’m putting up my photography portfolio without having a new layout.. the one Bev did for me MONTHS ago when I was on a freeserver is just fine.. just a few little tweaks here and there.. and it will be fine.. all I really have to do is go through and get the photos together,.. I tried to get catagories that already have working files for them:) So that it goes quicker. In searching for photos to use.. I’ve come across a few funnies I forgot about.. including this one.. TOBASOL fans will understand:)

as a follow up to see if you have found out any info on the post office about the package.. I still haven’t recieved anything. What day exactly between Christmas and New Years was the package shipped and how was it shipped? US Postal Air? Ground Ship? Even with it being sent out the first of the year, it has a possible 10 shipping days.. I just recieved a package sent on the 8th of January from the States today.. which was only 4 shipping days..

Yes. Some helpful soul down at the Post Office decided that the custom tag
was not right, and pulled the box, but didn’t put a notice in our box. The
box is on the way and may arrive despite the efforts of the assorted post
offices.
I’m sorry.. what is this MAY arrive bullshit? FYI about customs tags.. those are checked thoroughly by postal officials before they are even put in the bin to be mailed out. IF the tag was incorrect.. it would not have gotten as far as over the counter.. much less put in a bin and “checked later”. Once a package is received by a counter postal worker, checked, stamped and placed in the bin.. it’s pretty much out of their hands till the next stage of delievery.. if it had gone THAT far.. with an incorrect postal/customs tag.. it would have been returned directly to sender…. Not just cooled it’s heels in some PO back room waiting for the sender to come investigate WHY a package that was placed in shipment 10 days after it was ordered.. was still not delivered.
So.. this “post office check” that she was supposed to have done and discovered was by her own words of her email Weds night was “I’ll check tomorrow”.. So I’m assuming that it got on it’s way by Friday Jan 10.. which means it should arrive no later than the 20th..that would work even if it went out yesterday the 13th.. it’s roughly 8-9 shipping days.
