slow load times
I and others have been experiencing slow load times here on DIR. I’ve tried to sort through and see what is causing the trouble and it appears to be the calendar. I removed the script and now the page is loading quite faster for me. I’m beginning to wonder about the “members” script as well.. Not happy about that.
I did notice when logging into my control panel for pmachine that the “first” page was loading slow too.. when it finally showed up, low and behold.. calendar. That confirmed my first suspicions.

lol.. Wow your site loads so much faster for me now Becka .. even on dial up. Mine has bene loading slow. I know the Zonkboard is part of it but could the calender be too? If so I’ll ditch that.

my problem is that I’m here….. instead of the US… FIX IT!! hehehe…
