SO.. bedtime at 10am, awake time at 4pm.. i cna officially say my sleep schedule is fubarred.. completely and totally.. rockon..
I tried calling CIC again, they close at 4.. I should have not gone to reheat some coffee. In any case.. like i said in my earlier post today.. My application is not going to be even viewed till mid December at the earliest. Let me tell you a little story.
Back when I sent my application out, we were told “we(CIC) strongly recommend that you do not leave Canada until your application is finished. Leaving the country COULD invalidate your temporary resident status and therefore your application as a temporary resident”. So i made a huge trip back to the folks at the end of may/beginning of june. I’ve been back into Canada since June 6. We were told 3-8 months of process time. My application has been there 2 months, won’t be touched for processing for another 2 months.. That’s 4 right there..
So here I am, pondering now.. What it’s going to be like to not work for at least another 5 months, not see my family, my friends.. my horse.. I’m just gonna have to tell my dad to get rid of him, sell him.. give him away.. we can’t find a rider for him.. I won’t be able to come visit and work him at least once a month.. there’s no way in hell for another year this can continue. I cannot drive the car, so i cannot get any boarding stables here in ottawa unless i board him at the shithole down the street. so there is no hope of even bringing him here..
Tomorrow before my lovely Dr. appt. i’m going to call CIC and see what they say about traveling.. who knows.. every other time we’ve called more than once we’ve gotten different stories.. maybe they’ve changed the rules again.. Guess I better start stockpiling points to windsor.. because that’s the only way I’ll probably see anyone for the better part of the next 12 months. Lorie’s having the baby at the end of November, she wont’ be able to travel until spring.. and the rest all have time/money situations that prevent weekend jaunts.
I guess if any ya’ll are coming to Windsor next month to see me, guess we better make it a good one, cuz I probably won’t be back down there until the end of February to see my mom.. after that who knows..
