Tuesday This Or That - The Money Edition
1. File taxes as early as possible, or wait until the last possible minute? Somewhere in the middle.. Taxes were easy for me the past 2 years.. 0 income.. do de do.. here’s my forms, I’m still alive.. don’t steal my Social Security, Thanks!
2. File electronically, or mail paper forms? Paper Forms.. as much as I love my computer.. I don’t trust the thing.
3. Prepare your own taxes, or have someone do it for you? eh.. on my own.. I don’t have enough crap to warrant someone else having the migraine.
4. Are you a saver or a spender? Fluctuates really.. I used to be a horrible horrible spender.. and I got in trouble with it.. Now that I’ve paid the price, and that I’ve scared myself shitless with it.. I’m more of a saver…I just have come to the point where I really evaluate what I’m purchasing.. I rarely impulse buy..
5. Do you prefer to carry cash, or pay with plastic (credit/debit cards), or by check? i pay by cash, k usually uses his debit card or visa.
6. You’re broke and desperately need a job, but the only places that are hiring are retail or fast food places. Which would you pick? retail.. handsdown
7. Keeping track of your money: are you more meticulous or careless about it?meticulous… because I don’t have my own income.. so what money I do have.. I make sure that it lasts.. because I hate having to ask for more.
8. What do you do if you find yourself with a lot of change weighing down your purse/pocket/wallet? Do you try to spend it to *get rid of it*, or do you put it in a jar or a piggy bank? I put it in my “money” jugs.. I have made pint sized yogurt tubs into money jars.. they’re labeled per each coin denomination.. When I have too much change, it all goes in there. After a few months I’ll see if I can roll it up.. I’ve used it for spending cash when I’ve gone to visit the parents.
9. Which form of fake money do you like better…Monopoly money or those chocolate coins covered with gold foil?the chocolate kind of course!
10. Thought-provoking question of the week: You find a wallet containing $5,000 in cash, as well as several credit cards and the owner’s drivers’ license. Your rent is due tomorrow and you’re short $200. Do you take the money (some or all of it) and mail back the wallet anonymously…or do you return the wallet with all contents intact? I’d like to say I’d take my rent money and return it saying i found it like this.. but then again returning all of it minus 200 dollars is fishy.. so I’d return it in full and cross my toes like mad the happy bastard will give me a reward for being so honest.

1. My taxes were filed in late Jan.. partly because I was broke and needed the money.. and partly because thats when my bf did them.
2. Mine were filed online
3. as stated in #1. Boyfriend did them
4. CAn’t spend what I don’t have
5. I will pay with whatever I have.. its rare I have cash but its also rare that my debit account has money and my cc is too high from moving so don’t use it.
6. I would pick calling home.. but Retail works for me.. rather do that then fast food.
7. I only pay for bills and the rare movies or groceries.. so I know where my money is.
8. I have a bank called the College Fund that holds all those new deal quarters that I do not spend.. the rest is in another piggy bank which needs to be cashed in and placed into my account. ohh I wonder how much it is.
9. The chocolate ones taste for shit.. so I will go with Monolopy.. Its colorful and oh so fun to have a lot of it.. I personally like the white bills!
10. Depends.. I mean I am the type that would take the money and give back the rest.. but then if he was to be all.. well Miss I would like to give you a reward I would feel all odd and bad about it.. So more than likely if the man or woman has 5 grand in his/her wallet they are more than willing to pay someone who found it .. if not they are a cheap bastard and I hope they lose it again.. so GIVE ME A REWARD or ROT!
